Hard, cold fact: we face a long battle. The ever-growing tea party movement is all that will stop the tenacious statists in our government and will save this country from socialism and tyranny, from the progressives’ liberty-robbing agenda, save the American people from future loss of their liberties.

Mark Levin, conservative talk show host and best-selling author of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, says we must stay the course, must slash the federal budget, must slash spending, and MUST vote in November to take back our country from the threats to our institutions, to our liberties, to our Constitution… we must stand up to the government’s recent assaults on civilized American society, ignoring the majority of regular citizens who don’t agree with their ideology or direction for the country.

But it won’t stop after the November election. We can’t ever again sit back and let it happen again. We must always remain vigilant and must support those new conservative candidates who have stepped up, have volunteered to enter the political arena to represent the majority of Americans and help take back our government. Freedom can easily be snatched away when we’re not paying attention.

Tea partiers by the millions across the country have risen up to protest this administration’s power-grabbing dictates and mandates. We’ve gotten off our couches and away from our TV sets to become educated about history and politics, to make a difference, to actively get involved to preserve and protect America and what she represents — we must stay active and not become complacent. We must not ever quietly surrender our political system to those in Washington who would craftily, disingenuously use it against us to enslave us.

The video below is a clarion call, a motivator. I’ve included a portion of a transcript of Levin’s inspirational speech.

He’s ON FIRE.

“To stand on the sideline would be a disaster… our efforts have just begun… The statists do not relent. They do not play by the rules, they do not respond to the public’s will, they do not accept electoral results. Winning this election by a landslide, I pray to God, will just be the beginning. We need to tame the massive bureaucracy that has grown into a leviathan that threatens to swallow us up… We will not be tread upon by the big foot of government anymore. We will not be told what we must buy, what we must eat, what we must drive, and how we must live. This is a republic! The politicians work for us. We don’t work for them. We tell them what to do – they don’t tell us how to live.

“Now, I’ve heard it said, you should not get involved in politics. I’ve heard it said what’s going on is bigger than politics.

“Well, let me tell you something — as a student of history for four decades, our founding fathers believed in God, even more, they went to war for our independence and established a republic based on His teachings. The Declaration of Independence is a declaration about God-given natural law and unalienable rights. But the founding fathers would never have urged the colonists to forswear to politics — not for a day, not in the middle of a battle that we must win.

“On the contrary, they called for the nation to engage in the ultimate political battle, a revolution — the American Revolution. And that revolution was unleashed precisely because the British monarch refused to allow the colonists representation. He refused to allow the colonists a say in their governance. He refused to allow the colonists to determine their own fate here on Earth, in this society. Any society not rooted in God-given natural law is a society that will ultimately destroy itself, no question. It is a society that will become tyrannical. It is a society spiraling out of control, like our society.

“The founding fathers knew this. They said so, they wrote it. And also they were leaders in their community. Some were local politicians, some were businessmen, some were scholars. They all became activists, political activists. And they risked everything.

“You cannot separate philosophy from politics. You cannot separate our politics from God-given natural rights. So, we rally. We meet. We pray. We preach.

“But, by God, never, ever are we going to leave this playing field to the enemy. Never, ever surrender politics to those who would use government against us. That’s what happened last time around — look what happened. Look what happened!

“We don’t choose between God and politics — we embrace God who directs us into politics. We do what the founding fathers did, except they went to war and risked their lives. All we need to do is organize and vote. Organize and vote, and enthusiastically grab a hold of the political system in this country and wrestle it to the ground.”
