Unbelievable: Senior Citizen Tasered in Own Home by Marin County Deputies, Sues for Excessive Force (video)

I’ve always been a strong supporter of our nation’s courageous men and women who have chosen to serve and protect the public as police officers.
Well, maybe not in this case, as shown in the videos below of an old man being tasered by sheriff’s deputies in his own home in Marin County, California in June 2009.
His crime? Not letting the deputies take him to the hospital and their knee-jerk conclusion that he was suicidal because of a comment he had made. So, uninvited in his home, they tasered him — three times — to subdue him to make him compliant.
Unbelievable.
Excessive force demonstrated here? Good grief. I vote YES.
Warning: Disturbing video footage of 64-year-old Peter McFarland writhing and screaming in pain after being tasered three times. It has been revealed that tasers are lethal weapons and should only be used in dangerous situations. McFarland, who has a heart condition, could easily have died from the deputies’ actions.
Watch the videos and you be the judge.

Doesn’t one have the right to refuse medical attention in this country? – we’re talking $20,000 a day in a hospital, and the guy stated his very sane reason – no insurance. The same thing has happened a thousand times and more, is my bet. Now days police have medical diagnosis powers, and Doctors have police powers, and the citizen is the victim. There is big money involved as well.
