Whiner-in-Chief Obama in Wisconsin: 'They talk about me like a dog'

Poor Barack Obama.

Our Whiner-in-Chief went off script today while talking to union folks in Wisconsin, and lamented that there are those in the Republican party who speak ill of him… they talk about him “like a dog.”

Some more “thin skin in the game,” Mr. President?

How many times did George W. Bush whine or or complain or lament or sniffle in an address about the vicious, disgusting things liberals — and many in the press and Congress — said about him? That they STILL say about him? Zero.

And if POTUS thinks he has it rough, he needs to stop playing God with the Constitution while ignoring the voices of the majority of American people — he must start to pay just a teensy bit of attention to the record-breaking negative polls against him, where a majority of American voters are passionately, vehemently speaking out against his disconnect with America, with his socialist-progressive agenda, and the utter disaster he is making of the US economy and the exploding federal deficit.

Was there a tear glistening in his victimized eye?

Whip out some Kleenexes for poor, pitiful, community organizer Barack… thin skin is his personal trademark. When he isn’t bashing GWB. Or bashing Arizona. Or bashing those who oppose the building of the Ground Zero Mega Mosque at the hallowed grounds of the WTC. Or bashing Republicans. Or bashing tea partiers. Or bashing Rush Limbaugh. Or bashing conservatives. Or bashing the police in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Or bashing those who don’t want government-run, government-mandated, pork-filled ObamaCare. Or bashing Wall Street (a major contributor to the Democrat Party that is now turning its back on Obama, as are other influential campaign donors). Or bashing GWB some more.

Good grief. The man-child is being a big baby now. He has dished it out to his critics far more than Bush or Clinton or Reagan ever did to those who didn’t agree with them, but can’t handle the political heat and publicly whines when it is dished back at him.

His declared “Recovery Summer” never happened, unemployment “unexpectedly” increased AGAIN, the majority of Americans are angry about his support of more government spending and ObamaCare, as well as the GZ Mega Mosque and his lack of support for enforcing illegal immigration laws. Even more millions of American jobs have been lost under his misguided stimulus bill and failed economic policies.

What does the president expect? A motherly pat on the head for this growing mess?

Another $50 billion to be spent on infrastructure won’t fix the making of the US economy’s disastrous mess, Mr. President. Have another cookie.

(CNN) – Those following President Obama’s prepared remarks during a speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Monday were thrown a bit of a curveball when it came to a description of his critics:

“Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they’re not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That’s not in my prepared remarks, but it’s true,” he told a crowd largely consisting of union members.

The line was a rare departure from a president who normally sticks close to the text of his speech and may forecast a more aggressive tone on the part of Obama as the midterms approach.

The address is the first of two speeches this week in which Obama will try and frame his administration’s response to the recession, less than two months ahead of midterm elections where Democratic majorities in the House and Senate are on the ropes.

Without an obvious presence of a backbone in front of Union bosses and their rank and file members, Obama goes running to mama saying “‘They’ talk about me like a dog.” What does he want? …a lollipop? a comforting pat on the rump? and a kiss on the forehead? There there dear… Mommy still loves you… coo…

The bought and paid for president gave his remarks (text of prepared remarks) as expected but there was a little wrinkle this time. Apparently the poor widdle president is upset at his critics. He whined to his union patrons that his critics “talk about me like a dog.” President Obama, I, for one, would never insult dogs like that.

Even if Obama is coming across as petulantly ignorant of the will of the people and as a gigantic whiner, the Democrat Party has finally acknowledged the proverbial writing on the wall for the November elections, as reported by Hot Air:

As Democrats brace for a November wave that threatens their control of the House, party leaders are preparing a brutal triage of their own members in hopes of saving enough seats to keep a slim grip on the majority.

In the next two weeks, Democratic leaders will review new polls and other data that show whether vulnerable incumbents have a path to victory. If not, the party is poised to redirect money to concentrate on trying to protect up to two dozen lawmakers who appear to be in the strongest position to fend off their challengers…

To hold the line against Republicans, the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, issued an urgent plea for members in safe districts to help their endangered colleagues by contributing money. She called out Democrats who were delinquent on paying their party dues and instructed members with no re-election worries to tap into a combined $218 million from their campaign accounts to help save their majority.

At least five of the 34 House Democrats who voted against their party’s health care reform bill are highlighting their “no” votes in ads back home. By contrast, party officials in Washington can’t identify a single House member who’s running an ad boasting of a “yes” vote — despite the fact that 219 House Democrats voted in favor of final passage in March…

It’s a far cry from where Democrats hoped they would be when they passed the landmark legislation in March. Many senior Democrats said last winter that the law’s popularity would increase as Americans were able to better understand the complex law and take advantage of its benefits.

But the public’s views on the legislation may have been more settled than anyone thought.

On the subject of Obama’s $50 billion infrastructure plan, Lurita Doan writes the following at Townhall, Stimulating Infrastructure Projects Without Spending More Money:

President Obama and his team of White House advisors are wrong: no additional federal funding is needed to stimulate a federal construction boom that would launch job-creation in cities across the United States. What is needed, desperately, is no-cost, regulatory reform of the existing federal building process. Currently, the average cycle to conceive, design, fund and ultimately construct a federal building takes approximately 7 years. That’s just too long.

Few infrastructure projects move quickly through the federal government’s labyrinthine process because there are approximately twenty regulated hurdles that must be cleared before a project is considered “shovel ready”.

As the Administrator of the U.S. General Services Administration during the Bush Administration, I had responsibility for building, maintaining, and managing approximately $550 billion in government hard assets, so I know all too well that the current, bureaucratic, approval process needlessly delays federal construction projects, creates confusion and anger among legislators with projects in their districts and, ultimately, drives up the cost to taxpayers.

American taxpayers were promised that the “critical infrastructure projects” to be funded by the $787 Billion-dollar, February 2009 stimulus were going to invigorate the economy and create 3.5 million jobs. But that didn’t happen. Tellingly, the most recent Bureau of Labor unemployment report for August 2010 shows unemployment has risen to 9.6% and that 15 million Americans are out of work.

Americans keep assembling more data points on the myth of the Obama Administration’s success, such as a stimulus that didn’t stimulate, mortgage reform that hasn’t solved the home mortgage crisis and job creation promises that haven’t materialized, confirming that Obama’s policies are wrong.
