Is Barack Obama for real?

With such nonsense last week from President Clueless, deliberately (almost defiantly) omitting the word “Creator” from the Declaration of Independence preamble while speaking to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s 33rd Annual Award Gala, his current negative 19 approval index will likely move into the minus 20s.

What gives, Barack? Why are you deliberately (almost defiantly) yanking America’s chain like this? Once again, you’re playing the part of a thuggish Chicago politician or a Marxist community organizer and not that of the President of the United States of America.

“Deliberately and almost defiantly”… is this the new “I’m manning up” attitude that Obama is trying to cloak himself in and project to the nation? If so, scrap it, Mr. President. You don’t wear it well.

The preamble, as written: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

American Thinker reports, President Obama removes ‘Creator’ from the preamble of the Declaration of Independence:

Friday evening President Obama addressed the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. At around 22:30, he incorporates part of the preamble of The Declaration of Independence, removing “Creator”.

“We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal….. endowed with certain unalienable rights, life and liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”

After President Obama says “created equal…”, there is a long pause during which he scowls and blinks several times. For once, he may actually have opted to not read something that was on the teleprompter. Is looks like he is disgusted and decided it would be better not to read what the preamble actually says.

President Obama, if our Creator is not the purveyor of our human rights, then who is? The government?

Ironically enough, he claims that what makes America America is our “belief in shared values.” And then goes on to delete one of those shared values.

Maybe Obama thought no one would notice that “Creator” was excised and he could revise history… it wouldn’t be the first time that Team Obama has been stunned at how well-informed and observant the American people are — let’s not forget the outcry last summer over his “fink on your neighbor” Snitch Brigade that they quickly dumped. He’s given tribute to inventions to the Muslim community that they had not a measly crumb of involvement in, like the magnetic compass, of all things.

UPDATE, September 21, 2010: Add Obama’s “rewriting of Mexico’s history” to the list of statist idiocy uttered by Prof. Clueless. Smartest president EVAH… ROFL.

Most recently, he has claimed falsely that the GOP offered no solutions for his Obamanomics mess when they had posted many suggestions on the White House website and House Minority leader John Boehner had publicly addressed two weeks earlier in an Ohio speech.

You knew it would eventually happen… wait long enough and the Kool-aid would dry up even for the most ardent of Obama supporters.

To quote this articulate woman’s concluding question (she’s cited as being either Vera Hart or Velma Hart in different stories) on the disastrous economic recession Team Obama has created, “Is this my new reality?”

Any bets on the left-wing media attacking, mocking, and destroying this woman for daring to speak out against Dear Leader and voice her concern like they did Joe the Plumber in 2008? A number of liberal activists wanted him killed. Should this woman worry about her life and livelihood, JournoList hacks?
