Human Events editor Jason Mattera had a one-on-one chat with Louisiana’s Governor Bobby Jindal in this two-part exclusive interview.
Among the topics discussed, Gov. Jindal gives his opinions on how to revamp the US Congress (make them be part-time is just a start) and steps that can/should be taken towards fiscal sanity and conservative spending.
He also makes several unvarnished observations on the Obama administration’s dangerous mishandling of our nation’s security, and criticizes the political-correctness stupidity of TSA employees groin searching six-year-old children in airports.
We’ve been, Jindal states, incredibly lucky when it comes to Muslim terrorist attacks. Empathizing with the “grievances” of Islamic radicals and not offensively protecting our nation against terrorists will not work. This is NOT about naive, liberal-feel-good appeasement of those jihadists who hate us, hate our American way of life, and want us all dead — some liberals think that because they are usually from third-world countries, if we give them MORE money, they won’t want to kill us. Crikey.
These nutbars will do everything within their power they can, including commit suicide if necessary, to kill all Americans and all other infidels throughout the world. It has little to nothing to do with money. Unless you’re Muammar Gaddafi.
Being lucky is not a strategy. Well said.

Jindal blasted Obama’s far left nuttiness during the interview:
“We’ve been lucky with…the Time Square bomb, the underwear bomber. Being lucky is not a strategy. The reality is we’ve been playing defense instead of playing offense…”
“Why in the world do we have TSA examiners who are groping 6-year-old children flying home to see grandma for the holidays? Why in the world are we acting like we don’t have intelligence assets and common sense? Not using our intelligence and not using our common sense, that’s called dumb. This is a dumb strategy that we’re pursuing.”
In addition to the Islamic Times Square bomber and the Islamic Christmas Day underwear bomber, we were also lucky with the Islamic Portland tree-lighting ceremony bomber and the probable Yemen-to-Chicago synagogue bomb attack.
We weren’t so lucky with the deadly Islamic attack at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas last November.
Here’s the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists, as of November 30, 2010… a bloodthirsty, zealous group of vermin that doesn’t value human life, especially the lives of non-Muslims, devoted to killing as many infidels as they can before being killed themselves:
