The release of thousands of classified government documents is proving to be embarrassing for Team Obama, especially for Sec. of State Hillary Clinton
Following the release of a quarter-of-a-million classified documents by self-proclaimed “whistle blower” Julian Assange and WikiLeaks over the weekend, revelations of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s requests for credit card information and frequent flier miles on foreign diplomats, many are speculating as to why she’d request such private information.
In the FOX interview with Sean Hannity below, political commentator and former White House consultant Dick Morris compares Hillary’s tactics at the United Nations to what the communists do to their opponents to blackmail them. The WikiLeaks documents disclosed that Clinton was requesting personal information on UN officials.

Pakistani-Saudi relations were not the only casualty from the Wikileaks release this this week. The far left Obama Administration is getting pummeled by the disclosures. And, democratic darling Hillary Clinton is taking a huge hit.
Not only is Hillary being accused of acting like a communist, there are already calls for her to resign.
Jack Shafer at the leftwing Slate website is calling for her “scalp.”
A U.S. diplomat must possess patience, poise, and tact. He must also be attentive to cultural differences, a good observer, and proficient in several languages. When called upon, he must use his skills as a negotiator in the national interest. And, as the latest dump of WikiLeaks tells us, if the dip works for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, he must also be prepared to spy on his fellow diplomats.
…what makes Clinton’s sleuthing unique is the paper trail that documents her spying-on-their-diplomats-with-our-diplomat orders, a paper trail that is now being splashed around the world on the Web and printed in top newspapers. No matter what sort of noises Clinton makes about how the disclosures are “an attack on America” and “the international community,” as she did today, she’s become the issue. She’ll never be an effective negotiator with diplomats who refuse to forgive her exuberances, and even foreign diplomats who do forgive her will still regard her as the symbol of an overreaching United States. Diplomacy is about face, and the only way for other nations to save face will be to give them Clinton’s scalp.
How embarrassing are the WikiLeaks leaks? A secret cable from April 2009 that went out under Clinton’s name instructed State Department officials to collect the “biometric data,” including “fingerprints, facial images, DNA, and iris scans,” of African leaders. Another secret cable directed American diplomats posted around the world, including the United Nations, to obtain passwords, personal encryption keys, credit card numbers, frequent flyer account numbers, and other data connected to diplomats. As the Guardian puts it, the cables “reveal how the US uses its embassies as part of a global espionage network.”

Hillary Clinton said last night that the WikiLeaks revelations were ‘an attack on the international community’ and not just the U.S.
In the first response to the leaked cables by senior member of the Obama administration, the U.S. Secretary of State said her government ‘deeply regrets’ the release.
And in a move to reassure allies, a grim-faced Mrs Clinton insisted America was taking ‘aggressive steps to hold responsible those who stole this information’.
However, there was much angrier reaction from U.S. politicians, with one even claiming that WikiLeaks should be classified as a terrorist organisation.
Peter King, a Republican congressman and incoming chairman of the House homeland security committee, said the documents on the internet had put ‘American lives at risk all over the world’.
‘This is worse even than a physical attack on Americans, it’s worse than a military attack,’ he said.
Mr King said he had asked Mrs Clinton whether WikiLeaks should be treated as a terrorist organisation.
Doing that would allow the U.S. government to ‘seize their funds and go after anyone who provides them with any help or contributions or assistance whatsoever’, he said.
Mrs Clinton will be the first American politician to gauge the international reaction to the furore for herself as she is setting off today on a potentially embarrassing tour of central Asia.

Its leaking of 250,000 private memos was ‘endangering innocent people’, added Hillary Clinton.
‘These disclosures are not just an attack on American foreign policy interests. It is an attack on the international community,’ she said.
Her comments came after Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad branded the leaks, which reported widespread antagonism toward Iran from Arab Gulf states, a US plot to destabilise his country.
He accused Washington of playing ‘an intelligence and psychological war game’ but insisted that Iran was friends with its regional neighbours.
However, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the memos were clear proof the Arab world agreed with Israel’s view that Iran and its nuclear programme was the prime Middle East threat.
Other world leaders who were personally criticised also hit back. Silvio Berlusconi – who was accused of hosting ‘wild parties’ – wrote the comments off as a plot to oust him and noted the cables had been published in the world’s ‘left-wing’ press.
‘I don’t frequent these so-called “wild parties” and I don’t even know what they are,’ he said.
The Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev, was described as playing Robin to prime minister Vladimir Putin’s Batman but a spokesman for Mr Medvedev said comparisons to ‘fictional Hollywood heroes hardly deserve official comment’.
Pakistan’s foreign ministry joined the condemnation, saying the leaks were an ‘irresponsible disclosure of sensitive official documents’ while Iraq’s foreign minister, Hoshyar Zebari, called them ‘unhelpful and untimely’.

Now, I’m sure you’ve seen the story that the United States government has just seized and shut down 75 domestic websites in America, 75 domains, because they’re guilty of copyright abuse or infringement or some such thing. Now, the WikiLeaks website’s international law, so we just can’t unilaterally shut the guy down, but, you know, back in the old days when men were men and countries were countries, this guy would die of lead poisoning from a bullet in the brain, and nobody would know who put it there! I mean, if our secrets were really being compromised like this, and if some people were really upset about this, and this is not… I mean, everybody knew this was coming, and this is not the first leak from Julian Assange of WikiLeaks. We’ve known he’s out there doing this stuff, we’ve known this stuff is coming, and yet, it keeps coming!
Okay, if they think it’s too, shall we say, too rough to start talking about dying of lead poisoning from a bullet in the brain, how come he’s still in custody? I mean, it’s not just us who he is supposedly and ostensibly damaging. And now we’ve got Eric Holder on the case. I don’t know about you, but I feel totally comforted now that Eric Holder is on the case.
Can you imagine if WikiLeaks, if these guys would start offering illegal rap CDs for download? Why, we would be jumping into gear so fast to get this guy behind bars, he wouldn’t know what hit him. If this guy was putting illegal music, stolen music, and people would download it free from his site, this guy would be history!
But, no: he’s out there publishing all these dirty little secrets, these cables that go back and forth from State Department to embassy. We can’t find him, we don’t know where the little twerp is.
The Obama administration was fairly kicked back when Assange released thousands of stolen classified documents last summer about the Bush administration and the Afghanistan War. Now, however, they’re clumsily leaping into action…

Why is this round of leaks any different than previous leaks about the military? It seems that the release of the diplomatic cables, unlike the earlier releases which identified hundreds of informants in Afghanistan and exposed them to mortal danger, embarrasses Obama administration officials. Apparently it’s fine to blow military operations and the cover of those in a war zone who help the US, but when you make Hillary Clinton blush, well, look out.

I don’t like the Clintons, never have.
They’re jerks, power hungry narcissists; but they’re our jerks, our narcissists. I feel like Mr. Assange is blackmailing Hill-dog, and I’m not a fan, despite my politics and worldview differing heavily from hers.

My impression of Assange is that he’s a foreign tabloid journalist, a very smug narcissistic one at that, with the backing of at least some of “Anonymous.”
