Rev. Al Sharpton wants the FCC to silence conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh for bogus 'hate' speech
Rev. Al “Gotta Gin Up Racism in the Headlines or I’d Be Out of a Job” Sharpton is at it again. He wants to silence conservative speech on the radio — namely Rush Limbaugh. And he’ll pull out that dog-eared race card again to try to do it.
However, the liberal minister has been recently exposed for his OWN hate speech… throwing a homophobic slur at an audience member during an old Morton Downey, Jr. TV broadcast.
From The Blaze, ‘Punk A** F*ggot!’: Documentary Trailer Includes Slur-Shouting Al Sharpton:
An upcoming documentary about classic TV agitator Morton Downey, Jr. may end up being a great flick. But the film’s “star” might not be Downey, but rather Al Sharpton, who is seen in the movie’s trailer screaming a gay slur.
The Smoking Gun explains the documentary, Evocateur, focuses on “the acerbic, chain-smoking talk show host“ whose ”eponymous 1980s program was filmed in Secaucus, New Jersey and whose audience was filled with current and future probationers.” Think of it as the pre-cursor to Jerry Springer.
Apparently, the Rev. Al Sharpton was a regular guest on the program. And apparently, he wasn’t as “sensitive” back then.
ÉVOCATEUR – Official Trailer
From Gateway Pundit, Al Sharpton Meets With FCC to Plan Public Hearings For Rush Limbaugh & Others (Audio):
Race hustler Al Sharpton and members of his radical Nation Action Network are meeting with FCC officials to plan show trial hearings for Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives for “racist hate speech.”

New video was released this weekend showing Al Sharpton screaming “Punk-A$$ Faggot” at a stranger in a television audience.
Summary of what led up to Reverend’s Al gay slur in the documentary trailer provided by The Smoking Gun: Thankfully, Rev. Al Sharpton No Longer Addresses His Detractors As “Punk Faggot”:
For us, though, the highlight of the the trailer for “Évocateur” is the brief time capsule look at Al Sharpton, then a rotund Brooklyn reverend with a prodigious konk. As seen above, during a commercial break–but while cameras continued rolling–the civil rights leader is seen yelling at an audience member who likely had commented negatively on Sharpton’s weight, race, bow tie, or affiliation with Tawana Brawley. Perhaps all four.
Saying that he was “tired of them acting big,” Sharpton told the unseen audience member, “You ain’t nothing! You a punk faggot!” Gesturing for the Downey fan to come up to the stage and rumble, Sharpton added, “Now come on and do something.” Since becoming a respected leader, Rev. Al has dropped the term “punk faggot” from his fiery verbal repertoire, records show.
Rev. Al Sharpton: Time for FCC to Censor Limbaugh’s Speech
Leftist zealot Ed Schultz brought Rev. Al Sharpton on his little-seen MSNBC show to slam Limbaugh. Caricaturing Pres. Obama in a satirical Mt. Rushmore photo upsets Sharpton far more than THIS disrespect that was shown to former Pres. Bush. Sharpton’s outrage over “hate speech” is obviously selective. And you thought parody, political humor, and satire were protected by the First Amendment… not according to Rev. Al.
Unless the subject of the parody, political humor, and satire is a Republican. Then, no worries, no hate. Anything goes — well, almost anything. MoveOn.org had a TV ad posted on its website in 2004, comparing GW Bush to Adolf Hitler. In all fairness, the site removed the ad after receiving a huge amount of complaints from Republican and conservative groups and Jewish organizations. So, comparing Bush to Hitler is a no-no, but wishing DEATH on George W is A-OK for liberals’ hate-speech spewing.

This vampire depiction of Pres. George W. Bush appeared in the leftist LA Weekly... no outcry from Rev. Al Sharpton or other liberals about the lack of respect for the President of the United States.
No outcry over these freedom of speech expressions of presidential disrespect from Sharpton, either — for more demonstrations of “hate speech” and “death to Bush” protest signs and photos, visit Canada Free Press’s compilation.
From TV Squad, Al Sharpton: Rush Limbaugh May Be Forced To Testify Before FCC About His ‘Racist’ Comments:
Recently, Al Shapton meet with the FCC in hopes he could convince them to take action against Rush Limbaugh, who Shaprton believes has made racist statements about Barack Obama and other black political figures.
The civil rights activist appeared on the ‘Ed Show’ (weekdays, 6 PM ET on MSNBC) to discuss this meeting. While Sharpton conceded he wasn’t able to get the FCC to take an “affirmative” stand against Limbaugh, he believes Limbaugh may be forced to testify in a hearing about radio standards.
“(The FCC) can not infringe upon free speech, but they can talk about standards, and can have open public hearings where radio owners and personalities (appear) and certainly we would want Mr. Limbaugh to be one of them,” Sharpton said.
Then Sharpton added he would “love to see” Limbaugh explain in public why some of the statements he’s made “are not racist.”
Excellent essay written by Harry Beadle, posted at American Thinker, The Wolves Who Cry Boy:
The Reverends Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Jim Wallis, and Jeremiah Wright, and Father Michael Pfleger, insist that racism is alive and well in America. And they are right. All they need do is look in their respective mirrors to see some of its most active proponents.
Racism certainly still exists among some whites in the U.S. But anyone who thinks seriously — and honestly — about the issue also knows that those people are a dying breed. They never will die out completely, of course. Humans, contrary to liberal belief, never can achieve perfection. But their number is infinitely smaller than the reverends would have us believe.
Or, if such rampant racism still does exist, how do the reverends explain the widespread popularity of Shelby Steele, Thomas Sowell, Michelle Malkin, Herman Cain, Star Parker, J.C. Watts, Ken Blackwell, Marco Rubio, Allen West, or Lloyd Marcus? All are minoritiesl Surely the reverends noticed.
And these people are wildly popular with those the reverends insist are the most insidious racists: conservatives. Can they explain that? Or could it be that conservatives actually do believe in the idea of character over color? The Reverend Jesse, especially, should recall the dream of his friend, the Reverend Martin.
Also consider the outcome of the 2010 midterm elections. A large number of minority conservatives ran for office at both the state and national levels, and many were elected, or else they lost by very narrow margins.
Black or Hispanic conservatives were elected to Congress from South Carolina and Florida — the Deep South! — while conservatives, including one Hispanic, won congressional seats in Mexican border districts in New Mexico and Texas and came very close in Arizona. New Mexico has elected this country’s first Hispanic female governor, also a conservative. The vast majority of blacks and Hispanics freely admit that they vote liberal, so it simply is not possible that any of the minority candidates could have been elected without significant numbers of conservative white votes.
Of course, racism is not exclusive to America or to whites. It is, in fact, a human trait. It always has existed, and it always will. And true racism cannot be excused. But to some extent and in some respects, every person believes the race he or she was born into is superior to all others. That does not automatically translate into the hatred or denigration of those born to other races.
