New Year’s Eve Countdown: My List of Top Ten Sarah Palin Quotes… Encore Time!

I had every intention of pulling together a new list of my favorite “Top Ten Sarah Palin Quotes” to close out the year 2010 as I had done on New Year’s Eve in 2009.

Ran out of time, the cat ate my homework, George W. Bush did it, I felt fat, it’s proof of global warming… whatever. It didn’t get done.

So, it’s Top Ten blog-post encore time I’m not being lazy — I’m being frugal and I’m RECYCLING. The Palin quotes list is just as powerful now as it was last year — even more so, now that America is a full year wiser.

Captain Clueless and his Constitution-dismantling, power-grabbing statist weasels have been in power for two years now instead of just the one year they were at upon 2009′s conclusion. The promises made by POTUS — about improving the economy, about increasing jobs, about improving the image and status of America throughout the world — have fallen down a murky liberal rabbit hole. The majority of Americans know who is to blame, despite the left-wing lamestream media trying desperately to revise history or have us believe Bush is still running the show two years after Mr. Rock Star Hopenchange ungraciously returned the Oval Office’s Sir Winston Churchill bust to the United Kingdom.

After he repeatedly had the Democrats in Congress try to ram through his unpopular radical socialist agenda, costing trillions of dollars.

After he went on a “Diss America” tour on the taxpayers’ dime. After he dragged his feet to respond to the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

After he golfed a record number of times during the worst economic period this nation has seen in more than three decades.

Yep — we’re a full year wiser now.

The November elections proved that the process had begun of waking up the sleeping giant, of tilting the federal government back to where it belongs… with the American people. And Sarah Palin, the tea party movement, conservative pundits like Rush Limbaugh and Michelle Malkin and Glenn Beck, and millions of regular American citizens like you and me united to bring about Round 1 in the shellacking of the liberal/RINO elitists and spendthrifts in local and federal government.

Round 2 is 675 days away as of this writing, patriots.

Through her continued patriotic, common sense efforts, the 2011 New Year should prove to be even more interesting with Sarah Palin at the conservative forefront (and more exasperating for socialist liberals who would love to eat her, smeared on toast, for breakfast) — powder’s dry, eye’s on the sparrow, patriots are at the ready.

Will she run for president? Who knows? It’s damned amusing that the leftists, including Obama-bot daytime TV diva Oprah Winfrey, have twisted their designer undies in knots over it. Even “Jersey Shore’s” reality show bimbo Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has taken a pot shot at Palin’s highly rated cable Alaskan reality show.

God bless you and your beautiful family, Sarah. The leftist media will attack you in 2011 with everything they’ve got, the bastards.

Read these quotes — how could anyone actually hate this caring, passionate, patriotic, loving woman as much as the sleazebag statists do?

Palin’s Top Ten Quotes, in no particular order:

  1. No one expects us to agree on everything. But we are expected to govern with integrity, good will, clear convictions, and… a servant’s heart.

  2. At its most basic level, conservatism is a respect for history and tradition, including traditional moral principles. I do not believe I am more moral, certainly no better, than anyone else, and conservatives who act “holier than thou” turn my stomach. So do some elite liberals. But I do believe in a few timeless and unchanging truths, and chief among those is that man is fallen. This world is not perfect, and politicians will never make it so. This, above all, is what informs my pragmatic approach to politics.

  3. Personal integrity is making a hard decision and sticking with it. It’s about digging down deep and holding onto your faith, even when you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

  4. I know He hears me when I just call out to Him, which I do a lot. Oh, yes, I pray. I talk to God every day. I’ve put my life, so I put my day, into God’s hands, and I just ask for guidance and wisdom and grace to get through one situation after another.

  5. Americans expect us to go to Washington for the right reasons and not just to mingle with the right people. Politics isn’t just a game of clashing parties and competing interests. The right reason is to challenge the status quo, to serve the common good, and to leave this nation better than we found it.

  6. Government cannot make you happy or healthy or wealthy or wise.

  7. I always tell my kids that God doesn’t drive parked cars, so we’ll talk about getting on the next road and gearing up for hard work to travel down it to reach new goals.

  8. Everything I’ve ever needed to know I learned through sports.

  9. Let’s do what our parents told us before we probably even got that first credit card. Don’t live outside of our means.

  10. I believe in the strength and the power of women, and the potential of every human life.

Left-wing media won't run this beautiful photo of the Palin family's humanitarian visit to Haiti: Sarah Palin holding a baby at a Haitian cholera clinic in early December 2010... the left-wing media instead had a hissy fit about daughter Bristol fixing her mother's hair

One of my favorite photos of Palin:

2010 thrust Palin even more into the spotlight... much to the chagrin of many Democrat and Republican politicians

When Palin’s book Going Rogue: An American Life was released in the fall of 2009, it broke a slew of records in sales and the leftist media eviscerated it — at least one negative review was published BEFORE the book was released.

Here’s a video encore that recaps the success of Palin’s book. Fun music video, so crank up the volume. :)
