Shame on You, Luke — Your Dad Tim Russert Would NEVER Have Aired an Opinion Connecting the AZ Shootings to ObamaCare Backlash Without Some Actual Evidence (video)

Unhinged gunman Jared Lee Loughner killed six innocent people on Saturday in Tucson, AZ when he attempted to assassinate Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. This photo was taken from his MySpace page

Shame on you, Luke Russert.

Your father Tim would never have jumped to such inflammatory, speculative conclusions — and present them as facts — about law-abiding citizens who are legitimately outraged over ObamaCare and your imaginary murderous health care backlash being the vile motive for the assassination attempt on Rep. Gabby Giffords and the murder of six people in Arizona.

Not a shred of evidence, Luke, not a shred. Hack journalism at its worse — you wanted to be “first” to put the “ObamaCare Backlash” motive/angle out there — screw having anything to back the claim. While you’re at it, go ahead and blame ObamaCare opposition on income tax evasion, circus animal porn, East Coast blizzards, and tweeting while drunk driving in a Smart car — you have just as many “facts” at your disposal to do so.

With no information available at all on Jared Loughner for several hours after the shootings, not even his name, it was irresponsible and partisan for any journalist — and especially Russert, who needs to be a head above the other JournoList weasels, IMO, because of his father’s legacy — to air such an amateurish, unsubstantiated opinion and present it as “holy fact.” Especially since Luke stated at the end of his commentary about the fears about ObamaCare “retaliation” prompting “something” like this insane murderous rampage that, “It looks, sadly, that it’s come of fruition today.”

Uh, no, Luke, it DID NOT “come of fruition.” What a lying hack.

You’re no Tim Russert, dude.

Again, the vitriol and hate-drenched rhetoric in Arizona from the Left is being swept under the rug by the biased media.

Again, no retractions, no apologies from Russert or anyone else in the media for erroneously implying that the majority of Americans who oppose ObamaCare (or who aren’t flaming liberals) were somehow responsible for this tragic, senseless massacre in Tucson, Arizona.

Again, shame on you, Luke.

Immediately After AZ Shooting, Luke Russert Suggested ObamaCare Backlash Was to Blame | January 2011

Russert the Younger conveniently left out that many illegal alien supporters in Arizona have threatened Gov. Jan Brewer since she signed Arizona SB 1070 (many have also threatened Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his deputies), have desecrated American flags and vandalized government offices and buildings in Arizona. Not a peep of speculation from Russert that illegal alien supporters or illegal aliens themselves could also be responsible for the Tucson shootout, which is damned curious, since violence and illegal immigration is so high there and Rep. Giffords supported cracking down on illegal aliens entering the country, as well as protecting citizens’ gun rights — she’s received many threats from Democrats for her moderate/conservative policies. Many have angrily said she isn’t “liberal” enough.

But Russert left all that out. Only ObamaCare – supported by an increasingly dwindling number of liberals and opposed by a growing number of conservatives, moderates, and liberals — was offered as Russert’s “gee, I don’t have a friggin’ clue why this atrocity happened, but I’ll throw my first knee-jerk speculation out as the truth to America” explanation.

What is now known about madman shooter Jared Loughner… nothing here to suggest this crazed man EVER attended a tea party event, EVER read Sarah Palin’s Facebook page, EVER cared much about politics beyond his hatred of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (he told friends she was “stupid”), which apparently has been a growing hatred since 2007:

* Gunman Jared Loughner has a history of reported disturbing behavior and likely has a mental illness, perhaps schizophrenia — he was even kicked out of college and rejected by the military. His parents were instructed to get him psychological help — no information on that.

* Loughner frequently dressed all in black, ignored neighbors when they greeted him, had few friends, and setup a Satanic shrine at his home. Mcnorman’s Weblog has creepy shrine photos.

* He appears to be either part of or associated himself with an anti-Jewish hate group — Rep. Giffords is Jewish.

* Loughner didn’t vote in the November mid-term elections, is a registered independent, one of his favorite books is “Communist Manifesto” (another is Hitler’s “Mein Kampf”) and according to acquaintances, rarely discussed politics, but preferred philosophy.

* Loughner disliked Rep. Giffords, thinking her stupid, and expressed his hatred of her as far back as 2007 (long before just about anyone outside of Alaska had ever heard of Sarah Palin).

Choosing to ignore the facts, hate-spewing liberals and the Obama-bot media are in full force. They want to pin blame on Sarah Palin, conservatives, tea partiers, and/or Republicans. Facts be damned.

No liberals are asking the obvious — since they are salivating at blaming someone, ANYONE, on the murders committed by Jared Loughner, what about looking a bit closer at the murderer’s PARENTS?

Or how about just blaming the MURDERER?
