Good Grief, MSNBC Leftist Moron Donny Deutsch Slams Arizona Over Martin Luther King Day, Should It Secede from Nation? (video)
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on January 17, 2011

MSNBC Donny Deutsch lied when he said Arizona doesn't honor MLK Day - asked Rev. Sharpton if the state should secede from the nation.
Nothing like behaving in the exact opposite direction of “being civil” and “toning down the vitriol and rhetoric.” Already the radical left has forgotten Pres. Obama’s words, forgotten what they are demanding of conservatives. How quickly these disingenuous weasels scoop up more mud pies to fling…
It’s despicable enough that the horrific Tucson shooting last week was claimed falsely over and over again to be the fault of conservatives, long before any information was released about the crazed assassin — this was delivered/parroted irresponsibly, a relentless 24/7 staccato of bogus information — orchestrated by the shameless “don’t let a crisis go to waste” left-wing media, politicians, and bloggers. The ugly and false claims that the Tucson madman murdered innocent people in front of a Safeway store because of conservative messages and conservative leaders were utterly groundless and hate-driven.
As evidence mounted exposing the deceptions, most left-wing media quickly diverted course, found new conservatives to attack or started finally reporting evidence-backed information, but never retracted nor apologized for the week of false reporting.
The false reporting has influenced an escalation of the number of death threats being issued by unhinged left-wingers against Sarah Palin, tea party members, and other conservatives.
Arizona was called the “mecca of prejudice and bigotry” (thanks for the false, groundless smears, Sheriff Dipstick… er, Dupnik).
The emotional beating the citizens of Tucson and the rest of Arizona have taken for more than a week from these evil leftist clowns has been merciless and depleting.
Now one of MSNBC’s overpaid leftist pundit poodles decided even more salt needed to be poured into the state’s wounds.
Donny Deutsch posed a bizarre, bogus question to Rev. Al “Gotta Dig Under Any Rock to Find Racism” Sharpton about Arizona seceding from the union because it “doesn’t have an MLK Day.” What the hell?
First off, Deutsch is a certified moron — Arizona DOES observe MLK Day. What a statist chucklehead. Shove that ratty race card back into your pocket.
Should you ever decide to do some legitimate research (I hear that even left-wing extremist journalists actually do that from time to time), try that new-fangled search engine Google on the Internet. I hear it’s becoming quite the thing, Donny Boy — better than sliced bread.
I live here, Donny — many MLK events are going on and all government-based businesses, banks, schools, and other entities are closed today. Some non-government businesses are closed. Guess that didn’t fit your false “slam racist Arizona” narrative, so you likely thought, “Hey, screw honesty — my version of the facts is better!” But since this is MSNBC, who’s surprised about yet another example of lack of journalist integrity?
Hat tip to The Blaze via NewsBusters for this video:
Sharpton & MSNBC Deutsch: Shooting and No MLK Day Should Strange Arizona Secede from the Union
There’s a transcript of the exchange at NB, and writer Noel Sheppard comments:
As most of the nation celebrates Martin Luther King Day while attempting to move passed the tragic events in Tucson, CNBC’s Donny Deutsch decided to ask Reverend Al Sharpton if Arizona should secede from the union.

Nice job of toning down the rhetoric there, gentlemen.
This is exactly the kind of message mournful Arizonans want to see on their television screens as they try to heal from this horrific event.
Boggles the mind, doesn’t it?
Some Arizona headlines today that Donny the Hack either missed or ignored about Arizona and some of the observances of Martin Luther King Day today throughout the state:
Thousands expected to march in Phoenix MLK Day parade
Pastor echoes words of King’s dream speech
1/12-2/20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day events in Arizona
Martin Luther King Day takes on greater meaning with tragedy

Oops — guess you’ll apologize for your “honest mistake” about Arizona, right, Donny, because that’s what left-wingers always do when they’ve been proven wrong?
Banks, government offices, schools, post offices, and the like are closed today in honor and observance of MLK Day. Employers who are not government-based can opt to offer the day off or not. Arizona has observed Martin Luther King Day for nearly two decades — yes, there was a lot of flack back in the ’80s and ’90s about it, and Arizona was called racist (again) in the news. That was a long time ago, however, and the national liberal media and Hollywood celebrities twisted the facts back then as they do now.
For the record, here’s Wikipedia’s info on the MLK holiday, its observance, and how it affects employers/employees:
Overall, in 2007, 33% of employers gave employees the day off, a 2% increase over the previous year. There was little difference in observance by large and small employers: 33% for firms with over 1,000 employees; and, 32% for firms with under 1,000 employees. The observance is most popular amongst nonprofit organizations and least popular among factories and manufacturers. The reasons for this have varied, ranging from the recent addition of the holiday, to its occurrence just two weeks after the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, when many businesses are closed for part or sometimes all of the week. Additionally, many schools and places of higher education are closed for classes; others remain open but may hold seminars or celebrations of King’s message. Some factories and manufacturers used MLK Day as a floating or movable holiday.

Wondering – Could Deutsch be pronounced “douche”?
This kind of partisan, bad reporting is why I don’t watch TV national news anymore – especially the leftwingers stations. I prefer conservative blogs that recap because tehy have been proven to be much more accurate. Michelle Malkin rocks!
