'Jihad Cosmo': The cover of Al-Shamikha magazine, Islamic terrorist beauty magazine

Step aside, Oprah… al-Qaeda has a new beauty-minded magazine for Muslim women aspiring to be terrorists. It offers beauty tips for female jihadists before they plant that subway bomb, how-to articles on marrying a martyr and raising their children to be good little mujahideen (Muslim guerrilla warriors engaged in a jihad), and showcases women whose terrorist husbands died in suicide bombings while murdering non-Muslims.

The magazine, Al-Shamikha, has been nicknamed “Jihad Cosmo.”

Gotta look your prettiest before murdering those infidels…

Despicable and disturbing.

From Mail Online, Glossy ‘Jihad Cosmo’ combines beauty tips with suicide bombing advice:

Al-Qaeda has launched a women’s magazine that mixes beauty and fashion tips with advice on suicide bombings.

Dubbed ‘Jihad Cosmo’, the glossy magazine’s front cover features the barrel of a sub-machine gun next to a picture a woman in a veil.

There are exclusive interviews with martyrs’ wives, who praise their husbands’ decisions to die in suicide attacks.

The slick, 31-page Al-Shamikha magazine – meaning The Majestic Woman – has advice for singletons on ‘marrying a mujahideen’.

Readers are told it is their duty to raise children to be mujahideen ready for jihad.

And the ‘beauty column’ instructs women to stay indoors with their faces covered to keep a ‘clear complexion’.

They should ‘not go out except when necessary’ and wear a niqab for ‘rewards by complying with the command of Allah Almighty’.

A woman called Umm Muhanad hails her husband for his bravery after his suicide bombing in Afghanistan.

And another article urges readers to give their lives for the Islamist cause.

It advises: ‘From martyrdom, the believer will gain security, safety and happiness.’

More traditional content for a women’s magazine includes features on the merits of honey facemasks, etiquette, first aid and why readers should avoid ‘towelling too forcibly’.

The publication is being distributed online by the same Al-Qaeda media wing behind Inspire, a similarly slick magazine that encourages young Muslims in the West to commit terrorist atrocities.

James Brandon at anti-extremism think tank Quilliam, said: ‘Al-Qaeda see how effective magazines are at pushing the ideals of western culture and want to try the same thing.

‘As a result they have come up with a jihadist’s version of Cosmopolitan magazine.’

From Gateway Pundit, Al-Qaeda Now Offering Beauty Tips to Potential Suicide Bombers:

Does this bomb make my butt look big?

The Islamic killers are reaching out to the ladies.

From NY Post, Qaeda’s new burqa-beauty mag:

Call it the Ladies’ Home Jihad.

Al Qaeda is publishing a new women’s magazine that mixes tips on skin care, beauty and fashion with the latest dish on suicide bombings and electronic jihad, The Sunday Times of London reported yesterday.

The cover of the glossy, 30-page magazine, called al Shamikha — The Majestic Woman — features a small picture of a burqa-clad woman and a huge photo of a gun barrel.

Inside are exclusive interviews with women praising their husbands’ decisions to blow themselves up for Allah.

The beauty column tells women to stay indoors with their faces covered to retain their skin’s youthful glow.

It advises readers that wearing a veil will “protect you from direct sun and will earn you rewards by complying with the commands of Allah Almighty.”

From The Periscope Post, ‘Jihad Cosmo’: Beauty tips and bombing advice:

Islamic terrorist organization Al Qaeda, the group behind the 9/11 attacks, is making another assault on the Western world – this time through a glossy magazine aimed at women, offering beauty tips and advice on how to marry a martyr. Al Qaeda’s media arm – yes, there is such a thing – in the past made headlines with a memorable English-language jihadist magazine, Inspire, that featured an article entitled “How to make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom”; the impact of the jihadist response to Cosmo is likely to be similar.

The new magazine, reported The Independent, is called Al-Shamikha, meaning, roughly, “The Majestic Woman”, features a niqab-wearing woman next to an image of a sub-machine gun on its first cover. The magazine offers handy tips on how to catch and marry a mujahideen and on how to stay inside, covered up, to achieve the perfect complexion that few will see; argues against “towelling too forcibly” and debates the benefits of a honey facemask; and runs interviews with the wives of suicide bombers, praising those who have given their lives for Al Qaeda’s interpretation of Islam.
