Horror: Barbaric Muslim Mob on Murderous Spree to Protest Quran Burning — Also Burns Girls School, Kills & Beheads UN Officials, Bibles & US Flags Burned by Muslims (video)

Rampaging Muslims in Afghanistan murdered and beheaded UN workers on Friday, burned down girls school, burned US flags and Bibles, in protest of Florida Quran burning
Terry Jones, the controversial Florida pastor who had threatened last September to burn a Quran in protest of the Muslim bombing of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and then backed down, apparently did do what he had threatened. Two weeks ago.
Rev. Jones’ recent book burning got little media coverage, but someone eventually notified the Islamic bearers of “peace and tolerance” in Afghanistan about his Floridian exercise in freedom of speech.
Now, nearly two weeks later, those bogus “peaceful and tolerant” Muslims in Afghanistan have belatedly exploded — untold numbers of Muslims formed mobs and waged a deadly, demented rampage in the country, burning down a girls school and killing innocent UN officials, three of whom were from Sweden, Norway, and Romania. Two were BEHEADED.
Utter horror.
As we’ve seen TOO MANY times before: Never let an Islamic criticism go to waste to riot and kill infidels, even two weeks after the offense.
Some in the left-wing media (The Atlantic’s liberal loon Andrew Sullivan among them) and liberal sheeple community are, of course, blaming Jones, audaciously saying blood is on HIS hands for this horrific Islamic massacre, the latest in the alarming spread of Muslim violence and murder across the globe — because if Christians had retaliated to a Bible burning by Muslims that had the same deadly consequences, Muslims and not the murderous Christians would be blamed for their barbaric actions by the same media, right?
Yes, I surely jest.
Some raw video from Russia Today of Aghan protests over the Quran burning:
Whether or not you agree with the pastor’s controversial, yet legal and constitutionally permitted Quran burning, is not the real meaty issue here — the grave issues, as I see them, are 1) that the common response to any perceived offense to Islam has one prevailing result time and time again: threats, violence, and death to anyone who gets in the way. And 2), that many liberals ignorantly condone these actions by irresponsibly displacing blame and not holding the Islamic perpetrators responsible for their own heinous actions.
Taliban denies involvement in UN deaths
From NY Times, Deadly Protests Over Koran Burning Reach Kandahar:
KANDAHAR, Afghanistan — Violent protests over the burning of a Koran in Florida flared for a second straight day, with young men rampaging through the streets of this southern capital, flying Taliban flags and wielding sticks.
Nine people were killed and 81 injured in the disturbances, all from bullet wounds, said Abdul Qayoum Pakhla, head of the provincial health department. One of the dead was a police officer. Kandahar has long been the heartland of the Taliban insurgency but has been relatively quiet in recent months since a surge of additional American troops arrived here.
The protests here came a day after a mob overran the headquarters of the United Nations in Mazar-i-Sharif, killing 12 people, 7 of them international staff members. The mob gathered after three mullahs at Friday Prayer urged action in response to the Koran burning by a pastor, Terry Jones, in Florida on March 20.
[...]
The police said that some of the protesters were armed, and Afghan authorities used live ammunition on occasion to quell the disturbances, which continued all day. Of the 16 arrested, 7 were armed, officials said. Kandahar’s provincial governor, Tooryalai Wesa, said the police had been patient with the protesters on Saturday, even when some used hand grenades and other weapons against them. “The security forces have tolerated much,” he said. “If it continues for another day, the security forces will take action against them.” Zalmai Ayoubi, spokesman for the provincial governor, said the rioters attacked the Zarghona Ana High School for Girls, burning some classrooms and a school bus. The school is supported by the United States Agency for International Development. The Taliban have opposed education for girls.
From Scottish Daily Record, Two UN workers beheaded and ten others killed as Afghan mob rampage:
TWELVE United Nations staff were killed yesterday by an Afghan mob who opened fire during a peaceful protest.
Two of the foreign workers were beheaded in violence which erupted at a rally to protest against the reported burning of the Koran at a US church last month.
The victims died during the storming of the UN compound in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif.
Witnesses said 2000 people had been protesting peacefully before the violence exploded.
The mob opened fire on guards and set fires in the compound.
Three UN staff, from Sweden, Norway and Romania were reported dead. Four UN security guards from Nepal and five locals were killed.
The demonstrators were protesting at the alleged burning of the Koran at the Dove Outreach Centre in Florida, the church of the Rev Terry Jones.
Last week, Afghan president Hamid Karzai issued a statement calling the burning a “crime against a religion”. He called on the US and the UN to bring to justice those who torched the holy book.
[...]
Dan McNorton, of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, confirmed that people working for the UN had died in the attack but added: “The situation is still confusing.”
Hundreds of people in Herat, western Afghanistan, also protested against the burning of the Koran.
They set a US flag on fire and chanted: “Death to the US” and “They broke the heart of Islam”.
From Hot Air, Afghan mob kills at least 12 UN workers in protest over Terry Jones’s Koran-burning:
“Wait,” you say, “since when did Terry Jones burn a Koran?” Turns out he did it 12 days ago after some sort of kangaroo court/mock trial. I didn’t know about it until today; apparently, after being savaged last fall for condemning Jones’s provocation while devoting saturation coverage to it, most of the national media wisely decided to ignore him this time. Most, but not all: Someone must have picked up the story because, by last Thursday, our “friend” Hamid Karzai had formally denounced Jones’s act. Then, a week later, our “friends” in the Pakistani government denounced it too, replete with an open letter to the head of Interpol asking him to arrest Jones for the “violent crime” he supposedly committed. In other words, faced with a choice between pleasing local fundamentalists by publicizing a provocation they were trying to demagogue and alienating the fundies by ignoring it in order to avert a violent backlash, our “allies” decided to cover their own asses by stirring the pot. And let’s face it: Given the consequences these days in AfPak for being seen as soft on blasphemy, that’s a perfectly rational decision. Someone’s going to die; better a UN worker than the presidents of Afghanistan or Pakistan, right?
And yet, and yet, until today, there’d been no major violence anywhere reacting to Jones’s stunt, despite the fact that it happened almost two weeks ago.
From Gateway Pundit, Muslims Slaughter 9 Muslims in Afghanistan Over FL Koran Burning… And Torch a Girls School?:
The Religion of Peace strikes again…
Nine people were killed and a girls school was torched today when Muslim radicals protested in Kandahar. They said they were angry over the Koran burning in Florida… So they torched a girls school?
From The Guardian, UN staff killed in Afghanistan amid protests over Qur’an burning:
If the number of UN staff killed is high, the organisation will be obliged to consider closing down or dramatically reducing all its operations in the country – something it came perilously close to doing in late 2009 when an attack on a UN guesthouse in Kabul killed five staff.
The UN has already issued a “white city” order, which forces all staff in the country into lockdown in their compounds.
Earlier in the day hundreds of Afghans marched on the US embassy in Kabul.
In a statement the UN confirmed that some of its staff members had been killed. “The situation is still confusing and we are currently working to ascertain all the facts and take care of all our staff. The special representative of the secretary general, Staffan de Mistura, is on his way to Mazar-e-Sharif now to deal with the situation personally on the ground.”
From Atlas Shrugs, UN Workers Killed, Beheaded in Protest Over Quran Report:
There were also protests in Kabul on Friday against the burning of a Quran.
While Bibles are destroyed, desecrated and banned from Muslim countries, and Christians, Jews, and Hindus are systematically persecuted, slaughtered and oppressed — this horror. Killing UN employees, an organization voluntarily and largely driven by the Organization of the Islamic Conference. Instead of a thank you, one big FU.
Al Jizz implies that the preacher made ‘em do it; that’s how in control the Muslim world is of the narrative.
From Religion of Peace:
Last week brought a sober reminder that every religion has its extremists, as Christian radicals burned one copy of the Quran… And Muslim radicals attacked a half-dozen churches, burned dozens of Bibles, torched a girls school, and slaughtered 321 people in 26 terror attacks in just 7 days.
From JammieWearingFool, Eight People Murdered for Book Burning Half a World Away:
Some days I just feel like throwing my hands in the air and today is shaping up to be one of those days as far as the Middle East is concerned, or to clarify, those wonderful fun-loving fanatics of the Islamic cult.
Reports are coming out of some medieval head choppers in Afghanistan, who probably while acting under the influence of some strong opiates and stoked by the hate speech spewed at their mosque, have killed eight members of a UN mission. They beheaded two of them. The news is coming out in drips and drabs and I am having to piece together the information from various reports, especially since there are some in the news business that seem to have an aversion to labeling the killers. I hate to imagine the debates taking place in the editorial rooms.
The killings were sparked by the burning of a Koran by some guy in Florida.
[...]
What never ceases to amaze me is that in a country that is so backwards as Afghanistan, where the main instrument for receiving news besides the weird beards are AM radios, can hear about such an incident in the first place. To get them whipped up into such a frenzy that you can go out and slaughter eight people like cattle is truly a testament to how this cult can claim the title of the Religion of Peace™. The sad part is the folks who were murdered were probably not even aware of the Koran burning.
From Another Black Conservative, Barbarism! Afghans kill 12 at UN compound over Florida Koran burning:
There is only one word to describe this and the word is barbarism! As expected some on the left are blaming that crazy pastor Terry Jones for provoking this.
Absolute nonsense!
Whatever you want to think about the crazy Koran burning pastor, in America he was well within his free speech rights doing what he did. There is no difference between his Koran burning sideshow and some hack artist making feces smeared pictures of the Virgin Mary. Both seek the limelight by shocking and offending.
What is different between Jones and the hack artist are the people they offended. For the hack artist, he only offended a bunch of passive Christians who only fume, fuss and boycott. Terry Jones on the other hand, offended a group that has long ago embraced a culture of death and intolerance, and they act out on both with alarming regularity.
Many in Western civilization want to put on their moral equivalence glasses and see Islam as no better or worse than Christianity or Judaism. This my friends is nothing but wishful thinking taken to the nth degree. Pick up a newspaper on almost any given day and somewhere in the world Muslims are killing each other or someone they disagree with, all in the name of Islam. Even their women and children have embraced a culture of death.
From Camp of the Saints:
One doesn’t have to be part of some official group to perform Jihad. The Koran demands that each individual Muslim perform acts of Jihad**, that he justify his love for Allah by enslaving or murdering infidels. Why do many people see it as impossible that a Mohammedin would decide, in the absence of fellow Muslims he can form a cabal with, to act on his own to fulfill his obligations to Allah? Every speech I’ve read by an imam where the subject is Jihad speaks of the individual’s responsibility to conduct Jihad.
-I think some of us [and I'm speaking of American citizens as a whole here] just don’t want to face the grave threat that Islam poses to the Western Way Of Life. To admit the Reality would force one to have to shed their pampered, Kumbaya cocoon and confront the Truth that the world is made up of non-Western peoples who want to kill us and that we have to either beat them into submission or kill them. If The West collapses it will be because we refused to stop acting like the spoiled brats we are [please read Irish Cicero's wonderful essay on this subject here].
Rhetorical questions…
If the Torah had been burned and Jews had murdered and rampaged… would liberals and the media blame the Torah burners and not the Jews?
If the Bible had been burned and Christians had murdered and rampaged… would liberals and the media blame the Bible burners and not the Christians?
Update, April 3, 2011: Add the despicable Sen. Harry Reid and Sen. Lindsey Graham to those who won’t rightfully blame the responsible murderous Muslims for this explosion of death and mayhem, but instead blame/condemn one kooky pastor who burned a book two weeks ago.

[...] menu today over at the Frugal Cafe, Chef Vicki has the full story on those Mohammedins who are killing and burning over the burning of a Koran by that fool [...]
Islam is a dark, evil, destructive faith. What kind of god demands and loves the deaths of innocent people.
I’ll side with the faith that says:
“Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,’ says the Lord. ‘BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (emphases mine)
