Sick of federal government budget and congressional news?
Yeah, me, too.
A welcomed, delightful reprieve from the crapolla of DC… these precious cat and dog videos with dolphins rate at least an 8.5 on the “Awwww” Meter.
Cat and Dolphins Playing Together in Florida
From Yahoo News, Video of cat playing with dolphins goes viral:
An adorable cat capturing Web fame is hardly a new phenomena. But a cat befriending dolphins is something we haven’t seen before. Until now.
Arthur the cat was spending the day with his owners at Theater of the Sea, a swim-with-the-dolphins marine animal park in Florida.
When curious dolphins Shiloh and Thunder approached the friendly feline, the three became fast friends, amusing tourists with their playful interactions.
More dolphin adorableness… underwater video of a dog swimming with wild spinner dolphins in Kealakekua Bay, Big Island, Hawaii.

Awwww… love it!
Thanks! We needed that.
It’s a gorgeous, warm, sunny day here in East Central Indiana. I’m going to get my hands in some dirt planting violas and check my Bluebird box. Who needs politics right now?
Love baby birds of prey, they are so ugly they’re cute. Oh, haven’t been to the falcon cam In Indy. http://blogs.indystar.com/falconblog/
Bluebirds? Blue??? *envious face*
All indigenous birds here in AZ are brown, gray, beige, and variations thereof. I miss seeing aviary color like we had in California when I was a kid – enjoy your day outdoors and your garden! And I agree with you about the “so ugly, they’re cute” observation about baby birds of prey. I’ll ck out the falcon blog you provided.
We have Cardinals, Scarlet Tanagers, Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, Indigo Buntings, Robins, Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Rufous-sided Towhees, House-, Purple-, and Gold Fiches, Rose-breasted grosbeaks, Brown Thrashers (which are really more rusty), Orchard Orioles, Barn Swallows, 6 species of woodpeckers, 4 species of warblers (plus about 30 that pass through in the spring), and our share of black, brown and gray birds ….nesting on or near our property (and I’m sure I’ve forgotten some). And people say the Midwest is boring!
Don’t you get several types of hummingbirds? And you have Roadrunners — beep-beep.
We do have some hummingbirds (as well as road runners, owls, Inca doves, grackles, and cactus wrens), but the majority of our birds are your common-variety sparrows and pigeons. We get a few cool birds at times, like Canada geese and others, that land here for a while during their migrations. But we’re just a short pit stop.
