Keith Olbermann may not be working a job in the conventional sense (his leftist Current TV gig with Al Gore, following his being fired by MSNBC, has yet to launch), but Olby’s been working his fingers mightily with his raging anti-conservative tweets.

The pitiful King of the Leftist Loons attacked — via his overused Twitter account — conservative columnist for the New York Daily News and radio host S.E. Cupp this week on her stance against Planned Parenthood being funded by taxpayer dollars.

Last week, I provided a detailed breakdown on how much money has been donated by Planned Parenthood to the Democrat party over the past 16 years and an overview of the organization’s huge increase in profitable abortion services vs. the staggering decline of other pregnancy programs provided by Planned Parenthood, such as adoption and prenatal care.

Here’s the clip from the “Joy Behar Show” that got Olby all wee-weed up and prompted his nasty tweet that follows the video — you’ll notice that Cupp never once says she wants abortion services outlawed, never says that women should not have health care, but that she doesn’t want her tax dollars going to Planned Parenthood (she’s against their agenda) and wants PP cut from the federal budget:

Retaliation of “Bathtub Boy,” being the loathsome, misogynist jerk that he is:

Recap from The Blaze, Olbermann: S.E. Cupp Should Have Never Been Born, Proves ‘Necessity’ of Planned Parenthood:

Keith Olbermann is not known for his candor.* In a sense, it‘s what’s made him a popular figure on the left. And sure, he makes off-the-wall comments sometimes in order to evoke a response. But he may have gone too far today when he suggested that conservative commentator S.E. Cupp is a prime example of why the world needs Planned Parenthood (PP). Translation, she should have never been born.

Immediately, the comment drew fire from those who said Olbermann, the former MSNBC host turned Current TV commentator, insinuated Cupp should have been aborted. And just as quickly, Olbermann started treading water.

* Author’s note: by candor here I mean the second definition: fairness; impartiality. Thanks to reader Jill for requesting clarification.

From Olbermann Watch, Olbermann: S.E. Cupp Should Never Have Been Born!:

It’s our pal, the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann, self-styled policeman of ‘civility’, who turned on conservative commentator S.E. Cupp today with a viciously repellent thought: she should never have been born!

* TWITTERMANN: On so many levels she’s a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does.

But it gets worse than that. For full deets, see this Daily Caller report.

Olbermann has back-pedaled on his tweet, saying he didn’t mean “abortion,” but “pre-pregnancy counseling” or something like that. Uh, yeah, right, Olby.

Those merry imps at “Red Eye” don’t let him off the hook, no sirree Bob.

“Red Eye” Rips Olby’s Gutter Attack on S.E. Cupp

From Daily Caller, Olbermann says S.E. Cupp demonstrates the ‘necessity’ of Planned Parenthood:

The leviathan of all things wise, former MSNBC host and Current TV’s chief news officer Keith Olbermann, tried to cover his tracks Thursday afternoon after implying on Twitter that he wished Planned Parenthood had prevented conservative pundit S.E. Cupp’s birth.

“On so many levels she’s a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does RT @meow_6 #worstpersons S.E Cupp bashing PP on Joy Behar last nite. http://j.mp/hktGUX,” Olbermann posted.

Upon receiving a number of negative reactions, Olbermann revisited his sentiment, bringing the current debate about the actual work of Planned Parenthood into the mix and an ad hominem attack at Arizona Republican Senator John Kyl for good measure.

How did Olbermann get his icky nickname “Bathtub Boy”? Here’s the explanation from political commentator John Gibson on the “Sean Hannity Show” back in 2009 — it appears that he was the one who coined it during the Clinton administration and how Olby evaded covering the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal. Gibson also recaps other instances of the left-wing media’s bias that are covered in his book, “How the Left Swiftboated America.”

Cupp has responded to Olbermann’s Twitter attacks, posted at The Blaze — S.E. Cupp Responds to Olbermann Tweets: He‘s ’Misogynistic‘ and Has ’Huge Problems With Women’:

“No one is going to be surprised to learn that Keith Olbermann is incredibly misogynistic and has huge problems with women,” Cupp told co-hosts Pat and Stu who were filling in for Beck. She also chastised Olbermann for using abortion as a “cheap punch line,“ and accused him of hypocrisy after calling for tolerance and then going on to ”spew that kind of vile in a public forum.”

Olbermann’s initial comment was in response to Cupp coming out against public funding for Planned Parenthood earlier in the week.

“I didn’t find it very funny,” Cupp said, before explaining, “You never get used to someone wishing you were dead.”
