Obama Complains to Students That He Can’t Do What He Wants to Do When He Wants to Do It, That He’s Not a Dictator (video)

Darned that Congress and Constitution…

Pres. Obama complained last week to a group of eighth-graders, visiting the White House from a Colorado middle school, that he can’t do what he wants to do when he wants to do it because of “that big ole” Congress and Constitution. That it would be easier if he could just… well, be a dictator. He doesn’t actually use the word “dictator,” but the message is clearly there.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh aired the audio footage.

Guaranteed, halfway through this rambling POTUS monologue, the kids were fidgeting… or rolling their eyes.

Limbaugh also briefly discusses Obama stating last week that he misses taking long walks in the park, washing his car, driving to the supermarket with his daughters to squeeze fruit, not shaving, and not being famous.

This wasn’t the first time that poor Obama has complained about his job as Commander in Chief. Last October, smack dab in the middle of the umpteen vacations he took last year and his record-breaking golf course excursions, he lamented that he “needed a break” and would rather be in Tuscany in the sun, eating pasta.

A reader’s comment from Elaine at PJ Tatler:

Wow! Who knew being President would be a largely thankless job, filled with constant attention to unfolding situations, and a complete lack of privacy?

Oh, right… any actually intelligent person probably could’ve foreseen that. Which makes Obama what?

And I dunno about you, but driving to the grocery store with his daughters to squeeze melons sounds like a creepy euphemism to me…
