Drudge Report headline, May 1, 2011 - 'Bin Laden Dead; USA Has Body'
The Drudge Report headline above says it all. Not many details yet, and confirmation is still being sought by the White House, but it’s currently being reported that Osama Bin Laden, al-Qaeda founder and the purported head terrorist in the 9/11 attacks, is dead.
Break out the bubbly, patriots… and God bless our military.

WASHINGTON – Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the Sept. 11 attacks against the United States, is dead, and the U.S. is in possession of his body, a person familiar with the situation said late Sunday.
President Barack Obama was expected to address the nation on the developments Sunday night.
A senior U.S. counterterrorism official said bin Laden was killed in a ground operation in Pakistan, not by a Predator drone. The official said it happened last week.
Officials have long believed bin Laden, the most wanted man in the world, was hiding in a mountainous region along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

The long-lost terrorist mastermind had eluded an aggressive hunt by U.S. authorities for nearly ten years since the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 11, 2001.
