God Bless Our Troops: POTUS Will Attend Memorial Day Wreath-Laying Observance at Arlington Cemetery (video)

Pres. Barack Obama wasn’t there to honor our fallen service members at Arlington National Cemetery’s wreath-laying ceremony last year on Memorial Day… I’m glad he’s attending this year.

President Barack Obama is honoring America’s fallen service members with a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
The 11 a.m. event Monday at the Tomb of the Unknowns caps a nearly two-hour observance. The ceremonies also include a U.S. Marine Band concert at the Memorial Amphitheater.
The Tomb of the Unknowns is also serving as the site of a “national moment of silence” ceremony at 2:55 p.m., and a memorial service by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War at 5 p.m.

ARLINGTON, Va. – President Barack Obama honored America’s fallen service members, and called on Americans to remember their sacrifice.
In a Memorial Day speech at Arlington National Cemetery Monday, Mr. Obama expressed the honor and solemn responsibility he feels serving as commander in chief of “one of the finest fighting forces the world has ever known.”
Amen to that.
God bless our extraordinary military and all who have made the ultimate sacrifice. We will never forget.
