Blue Star Families: Crisis & Suicide Prevention for Our Returning Vets… “I Don’t Know What It’s Like” PSA Series (video)
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on June 7, 2011
Outstanding PSA series to communicate that help, if it is needed, is available for our returning military veterans and their families — many familiar celebrity faces in the short videos below that give information about crisis and suicide prevention services.
Summary from the Blue Star Families Channel on YouTube:
Blue Star Families and the Creative Coalition, in partnership with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and Health Net, Inc., are joining forces to raise awareness and educate military families, veterans and service members about crisis and suicide prevention. For more information, visit www.bluestarfam.org/preventsuicide.
Being in a military family can be harder than anyone knows. Returning from combat, from a war, even if you’re not physically injured, changes you forever.
If you’re feeling hopeless, you’re not alone.
And thank you, thank you for your service. God bless our courageous troops and God bless our courageous vets.
