Videographer/journalist James O’Keefe and his Project Veritas has gone undercover again and launched a new exposé. We now have shocking video footage of wealthy Russian drug dealers (they call what they sell “Bob Marley pharmaceuticals”) and pimps who are involved in child prostitution. They want public money from Medicaid so that their underaged prostitute sisters can get free abortions.

As the actors describe their illegal drug operation and their need for “many abortions,” Medicaid workers in Ohio work to help them apply for taxpayer-funded services.

Medicaid employees in Ohio barely blink when they hear the sordid stories of these undercover criminal Russians (the men report that they drive a modified McLaren F1 sports car with a gold-coated engine) and can’t wait to whip out that paperwork.

Ohio Medicaid Russian Drug Smuggling Investigation

From The Washington Post, Ohio looking into allegations that county Medicaid workers assisted men posing as drug dealers:

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio officials are investigating allegations that some county Medicaid workers inappropriately advised men posing as Russian drug dealers on how to get government health care benefits.

Conservative activist James O’Keefe posted undercover video on his Project Veritas website Monday suggesting workers in three counties helped the men after being told they were illegal immigrants whose young sisters performed sex acts for drug clients.

Ohio Department of Job and Family Services spokesman Ben Johnson says the video is “extremely troubling” and that the agency and the counties involved are looking into it.

In the video, a Franklin County worker suggests the men hide ownership of an $800,000 car, adding “you didn’t hear that from me.” In a statement, the county says she has been placed on paid administrative leave.

Johnson says the men never received Medicaid benefits.

This video is highly edited, but O’Keefe has said that he will furnish the unedited videos to state AGs for investigations.

In a way, videos like this are unfair: Medicaid is a giant program, and there are bound to be shady characters in any organization so large.

Overall, though, videos like these are a service to taxpayers and Medicaid recipients alike (assuming there are no tricks involved, which is a big assumption). This program is supposed to help the poor. It’s to no one’s benefit that its administrators, apparently, view fraud and abetting criminals as totally routine.

James O’Keefe doesn’t give up. His latest operation was posing as a Russian drug smuggler applying for Medicaid. He was advised to classify his illegal drug business as “babysitting.” Via Don Surber, The Daily Caller has the details. I don’t know how these Medicaid workers could have been more helpful to this self-described drug smuggler. I can’t believe I go to work every day and have a big chunk of money taken out of my paycheck to pay for this crap. Then I stay up too late, letting you know about it because I’m pretty sure the media won’t do it. They’re too busy telling us the evil Republicans want to cut off our sugar.

Not many Americans know what the radical, leftwing organization ACORN is, despite the multi-city video exposé that O’Keefe and Hannah Giles made public that blew the lid off in the fall of 2009. O’Keefe and Giles played a huge role in Congress voting to defund ACORN (although, with ACORN changing its operating names in many states, funds are still flowing).

Not many liberal news sources covered the ACORN scandal, and when they did, they downplayed it, or defended those employees who were helping a pimp and his prostitute girlfriend get taxpayer-funded monies to launch a child prostitution ring.
