Retired Lt. Colonel Allen West, newly elected conservative House of Representatives congressman in Florida, is being attacked by Rep. Wasserman Schultz and other leftists
Rep. Allen West’s strongly written letter to sniveling Democrat congresswoman Debbie “She’s No Lady” Wasserman Schultz is lighting up the Internet like a Christmas tree (or, “holiday tree” for all you anti-Christmas folks).
Rep. West says he will not apologize for his private, personal letter to her that Debbie decided childishly to release to the press and public in an effort to further smear him.
Good for him. Bravo.
As he said in this interview about being a military man who was attacked and challenged on the House floor by the whiny DWS, “Don’t poke me in the chest.”

Rep. West was interviewed yesterday on Mark Levin’s radio show — quite informative, not only on Wasserman Schultz, but on the escalating debt, the exploding budget, the failed stimulus package, the dishonorable atmosphere and dishonesty in DC, how black conservatives are treated and targetted by liberals, and the ongoing deceptive games Democrats have been playing.
Levin called out for a “Levin Surge” to donate to West’s website, AllenWestForCongress.com. Additionally, in the spirit of being fair and balanced, Levin has put out a call for Debbie to be interviewed on his show.
Can’t wait for that to happen.

I can’t disagree with his comments about what’s her name, except (perhaps) to the extent he used the term “most.” She is a flame-thrower who seeks to incite a reaction, much like Alan Grayson, and West should not have taken the bait.

Hero Rep. Allen West told FOX News anchor Martha MacCallum today that there was “not a chance” that he would apologize to DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz for a heated email he sent her this week after she attacked him on the House floor.

Democrats, of course, are trying to make political hay over the letter, hoping to paint West as some sort of anti-woman bigot because of his less than flattering words towards Wasserman-Schultz.

Normally, for a situation to be blown out of proportion, there must be a situation to actually blow out of proportion. And Allen West’s comments to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz are precisely not a situation, but liberals have failed to grasp this common knowledge.
As you read this, those on the Left are cowering in a corner, because due to the email that congressman West sent to congresswoman Wasserman-Schultz, Keith Olbermann thinks that West might actually shoot someone. Because clearly, using the words “vile”, “unprofessional”, and “despicable” are the worst things someone involved in politics has ever said.
Liberals seem to have made a sport of selectively criticizing comments made by elected officials or people in power, especially those who identify as conservatives. It seems that their buddies-in-arms have been given a free pass, so long as they vigorously defend the philosophies of a president who promotes socialist health care plans and flip-flops on more subjects than any president I have heard of. To be fair, I might be made to believe that West was wrong in his comments….if making such comments were not the modus operandi of the Left.
Where was Keith Olbermann and the Congressional Black Caucus when New Black Panther Party thug Malik Zulu Shabazz was saddened by Obama not shooting at white people? And why didn’t the liberal media respond when Bill Maher summed up Newt Gingrich’s popularity:
Let me put your unpopularity in context for you – you’re a Republican and you’re polling behind a black guy ( Herman Cain).

We should all applaud congressman West for standing up for his remarks. The only thing that seems unnecessary in the email is the reference to Wasserman-Schultz being “not a lady”. But that’s okay, because the Dems are poised to make a quick buck off the whole thing.
West has accepted the gauntlet/mudpie that DWS inelegantly threw after he had departed the House chamber — if he can serve 20-plus years of active duty service in the U.S. Army and deal with bloodthirsty Islamic terrorists, standing up to a squirrelly, obnoxious, ultra-liberal harridan with electrified Medusa hair (Left Coast Rebel calls her a “characterless moonbat”, heh heh) should not present a problem for him.
Kick back for the movie, boys and girls, it should be quite a show in the days ahead. More popcorn, please, with extra salt and butter to tick off the FLOTUS food police…
Update — I knew about West retiring voluntarily from the military because of “improper” interviewing of a terrorist suspect, but I didn’t know any of the details. This is from reader Missy8s and her input on the subject at Big Government — not something you’d learn from the liberal mainstream media:
Colonel West is the definition of courage.
The man had the brass balls to defend the troops under his command at any cost.
He was made aware of a coming attack by Al Queda against troops under his command, they had a suspect in custody that was about to be renditioned before he could be made to squeal about the coming attack.
He walked out to the holding area with his sidearm in hand where the prisoner was being held, started to demand answers from him, when he refused to comply he fired a round just above his head.
The suspect instantly broke and started to sing to on site interrogators and the attack was prevented.
Colonel West walked directly to his C.O’s office surrendered his sidearm and took full credit for his actions even if it meant court martial.
The Army allowed him to retire honorably with a reprimand on his service record and a loss of pay grade.
Colonel West is the living definition of brass balls and courage!

I’ve noticed that liberals always seem to target “minority” and female conservatives. Given their mantra of tolerance, this seems to be the epitome of hypocrisy (although, I’ve said the very same thing about liberals for different reasons in the past).
They are also extremely vicious to conservative gays — oh, yeah, that hypocrisy thing again.
