A Pantywaist by Any Other Name… Krauthammer’s Newest Adjectives for Obama & His Blame-Game Whining on National Debt Include “Weak, Plaintive, and Small” (video)

FLASHBACK: In the months that followed Pres. Barack Obama’s inauguration, most reporters on both sides of the political fence avoided giving off even a whiff of critical appraisal of the new president, jerking their heads and eyes away when he gaffed and blundered and erred repeatedly. Some of this early restraint appeared to be to avoid being labeled a racist for criticizing or not agreeing with him. The statist media’s adoration coddled and emboldened Obama and his hand-picked statist team into believing his own fanzine press, that the man from Hawaii/Chicago could do whatever he damned well pleased for four years, and a large group of powerful liberal journalists, plus hacks and academics, worked together zealously 24/7 to make that happen.
So when foreign correspondent Gerald Warner at the Telegraph wrote a hard-hitting piece with a hard-hitting title on April 24, 2009, it was quite stunning and mildly titillating for those who had long before seen through Obama’s slick veneer and were horrified by his anti-free market, “redistribute the wealth” ideology and what was perceived to be an anti-American globe-trotting “Magical Mystery Apology Tour”. Warner called Obama “President Pantywaist,” shaking a whole lotta boats across the pond… “Barack Obama and the CIA: Why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?”
“President Pantywaist.”
While not a term adopted here by the Obama-adoring media, “President Pantywaist” has been an expression of impish derision used with frequency for several years now in Britain when describing Obama.
Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit has called Obama the “worst jobs president ever” for months now. Karl Rove is referring to him as the second James Buchanan. Eric Olsen at GayPatriot has his own terms this week for Obama. He calls him a man-child and petulant fool. Olsen cites the president’s ego-driven frenzy to be reelected, to deny and deflect blame regarding the plummeting economy and US credit rating, while also ignoring other important matters.
Olsen wrote:
“…after a weekend at Camp David, Dear Leader couldn’t bring himself to even mention the members of SEAL Team 6 who perished over the weekend as a result of a Taliban attack he might have prevented, had he been a better man with the courage of his convictions, but chose instead his usual pattern of blaming everyone but himself for the United State’s lousy credit rating.”
Well said.
Columnist Charles Krauthammer also didn’t pull any punches when he added three more adjectives to his own growing list of adjectives he’s assigned Obama: “weak, plaintive, and small.”
We can add them to other depictive terms Krauthammer has used for POTUS, such as sanctimonious, demagogic, self-righteous, and arrogant.
For the tiresome Obama-adoring media, Krauthammer has called them “compliant, pliant, supine” in response to their mind-numbing, blatant bias.
Charles Krauthammer: Obama “Looked Weak, Plaintive, and Small”
From The Daily Caller, Krauthammer blasts Obama as ‘weak, plaintive and small’:
When President Barack Obama took the podium Monday, just three days after the Standard & Poor’s downgrade, it was widely considered an opportunity for the commander-in-chief to give the U.S. economy some confidence amid tumult in the financial markets. But based on the market’s performance the rest of the afternoon, his comments may have had just the opposite effect.
On Monday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer criticized Obama for doing just that — not portraying the right image or speaking the right words to allay market jitters. According to Krauthammer, he played the blame game instead.
“Look, he is accusing the tea party because it threatened default, for causing this,” Krauthammer said. “He himself said openly he would veto any debt ceiling extension that wasn’t long enough to get him into 2013. He was going to veto it over the length, which incidentally turns out to be, as you point out, irrelevant. He got what he wanted on length and we still got the downgrade.”
Krauthammer added that he was quick to fault congressional Republicans for the exact same thing he did during these negotiations and raised the question of where exactly the buck stops.
“But here he is accusing others of holding debt as hostage as a bargaining chip when he said he would himself,” Krauthammer continued. “So he’s been completely contradictory. I was sort of stunned by his appearance today. I said, ‘Why did he go out there?’ He went out there with the Dow at minus-400. And after he spoke, it went down minus-600. He looked weak, plaintive and small. I mean weak and plaintive because he comes out there and he blames of course the tea party, Europe, Japan and the Middle East, probably God because he’s the author of earthquakes — everybody except for him.”

Federal Budget Surplus/Deficit: Pres. Obama tripled the deficit his first year in office with the failed Obama-Pelosi stimulus plan. In Obama’s second year the deficit topped a trillion dollars again. It was unprecedented in all of American history.
From Freedom’s Lighthouse, Krauthammer on Obama’s Reaction to Credit Rating Downgrade: Obama Appeared “Weak, Plaintive, and Small”:
He reminded everyone that it was Obama who threatened to veto any debt limit deal that did not get him through his re-election attempt. He got that, but the downgrade of the U.S. Credit Rating took place anyway. It had nothing to do with the Tea Party, and everything to do with the huge debt run up by Obama, and his obvious unwillingness to deal with the source of the problem – spending.
I wrote this piece, with supporting videos, back in September 2010. It’s even more applicable today: Leftist Media Bias & Selective Outrage Against Tea Parties: A Look at Protests, Both Before and After Era of Obama (video), as well as this on the press’s coverage of Obama:
Members of the press are expected to remain untarnished by the siren call of partisan wooing — they are the front-line warriors who are expected to keep government honest, who champion and report the truth to the American public. They are suppose to shine the burning-hot light of their power on corruption. It’s their duty.
Or, at least it was once upon a time.
The mainstream media has served for years as pompom-waving cheerleaders for Obama — they built him up in the public’s eye, ignored or downplayed his mistakes, supported everything without curiosity or question that came out of his mouth. They launched coordinated efforts that viciously crucified anyone perceived to threaten his chances for reelection in 2012, or who dared step out of the Queue of Blind Adoration. FOX News was attacked by the White House and many ultra-liberal media sources for unforgivably not giving Obama a four-year pass, a presidency free of any criticism.
Obama was gifted with a pampered powdered-baby’s bottom of protection never before given by the mainstream press to any Republican president. The children’s tale of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” took on a whole new meaning after November 2008.
When any left-leaning media source dares to be less than glowing about the president or the First Lady, people are stunned. Is the press finally being objective? Honest? Non-partisan?
Liberals are stunned because they believe Obama is perfect, and how can perfection be questioned? Conservatives are stunned because they want to believe that this is indicative of the liberal press finally getting over its icky schoolgirl crush and Obama leg-tinglings to report the news as objectively and honestly as possible. Those hopes are usually dashed by the next news cycle.
American conservative pundits have been creative with their own terms and special nicknames for the president — radio talk show host Mark Levin calls him the “Marxist” and “Milhouse,” Sean Hannity calls him “Dear Leader,” and Rush Limbaugh has used myriad labels for Barack, including recently calling him a “craven villain.”
Doubtful that even the biased media will be calling Barack “gutsy” any time soon.
A pantywaist by any other name… is still Barack Obama.

as a man who has just spent 3 weeks and 4,300 miles driving through all the states west of the rockies, and a long ago proper-greencarded landed immigrant from the ’60′s i have listened to radio stations and seen tv programs about the abysmal situations that the ‘once-mighty’ usa finds itself in.
i watched the most powerful and complex flying machine ever created, make its last flight, long before its ‘wear-out’ date, ONLY AMERICA COULD HAVE CREATED SUCH A SPLENDID VEHICLE.
what happened, i’ll quote a canadian newspaper, the sun, july 31, 2011 ITS THE SPENDING STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the spending they talk about is all the social-security entitlements to people who have never done a days work in their lives and have no intention of ever doing so, these millions demand the same resources that millions of other americans have worked all their for. plus at least 12 million illegals from south of the border.
until someone realizes that there is a finite amount of unfunded social programs that can be substained by even the strongest economy.
there will be no change, in the behaviour of the socialists of like of those who kept eastern europe behind the rest of the world. for 70years.
message to some one, in america, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE MEAL,
