The “I Coulda Had a V8″ Dilemma: Dems Regret Choosing Barack Over Hillary, WH Lies about Photos at Dover Air Force Base of Navy SEALs, Buyers’ Remorse of Obama Increases (video)

Many Democrats now regret their backing of Obama instead of Hillary Clinton - like in the classic ad, they are thinking, 'Gee, I coulda had a V8!'
There is a growing — although it’s molasses-slow — realization from top-level Democrats about the enigmatic, unskilled, inexperienced community organizer. The man with one decent speech who they then forced down Americans’ throats as its leader, with a lot of help from the swooning, quick-to-call-you-a-racist leftwing media.
Barack H. Obama has made many of these Democrats frustrated and disillusioned. He not only doesn’t know squat about what he’s doing about the economy, about jobs, and about myriad other critical issues, but he doesn’t flippin’ care that he doesn’t know and is clueless that the majority of Americans have been paying attention. He ignores what history, reality, free market principles, and/or economists and people with years more successful experience have proven. Screw ‘em, he won, remember?
He goes through contrived gyrations to convince America he is a centrist, of trying to sound like Ronald Reagan or Winston Churchill with rehashes of previous speeches, but then predictably does 180-degree statist flipflops when it is time to act. What is right and best for America is not at the top of his priorities list. What is best for Obama’s career is.
Obama will always and effortlessly throw his own grandmother, political party, or wagyu steak supplier under the bus to deflect a particle of blame for any of his poor decisions. He will always grab credit if he can and if it will benefit him for reelection or stroking his massive ego. Count the number of times he’s used the pronouns “I” and “me” in his speeches. ‘Nuff said.
How many Democrats are regretting their decision to back this petulant, arrogant empty suit? How many now wish they had stabbed Hillary Clinton in the back less often — how many are thinking she would have been a far better president than this thin-skinned, golfaholic Whiner in Chief?
How many Democrats see how poorly Obama is faring in poll after poll, how he is not a shoo-in for a second term — they’re now smacking themselves in the foreheads like actors in those classic veggie juice commercials did, exclaiming, “Aw, gee, I coulda had a V-8!”
From Alex Spillius, The Telegraph, Democrats doubt Barack Obama’s reelection chances:
President Barack Obama is facing mounting doubts within his own party about his re-election prospects, with fellow Democrats beginning to ask if Hillary Clinton would have made a better president.
Mr Obama’s capitulation to Republicans in the recent tussle over deficit reduction is being seen as the lowest point of his presidency and the latest in a series of blows to the liberal agenda.
Faced with the staunch opposition of the Tea Party contingent of the Republican Party, he agreed to widespread cuts in government spending without winning any revenue increases in exchange.
Finding it hard to defend his often listless and repetitive performances, Democratic strategists and commentators are privately agreeing with Republicans and comparing Mr Obama to Jimmy Carter, another Democrat who remains the post-war benchmark for a failed president.
“He is a do-gooder at heart,” said Morris Reid, a Washington consultant and former Clinton official. “He thinks everyone has the same agenda to do the right thing, but other people don’t have the same agenda. Their agenda is to score points and get their party re-elected.
Huh?
“Do-gooder at heart”? Like when Obama childishly, rudely left PM Benjamin Netanyahu to fend for himself while the Israeli leader was visiting the White House and Obama said he would be having dinner with “Michelle and the girls”?
Or when he went on his audacious, slamming America “Magical Mystery Apology Tour”? Or when he’s used countless metaphoric terms of violence against tea party members and conservatives, or when he insulted and called the Cambridge police “stupid,” or when he announced that Israel should kowtow to Islamic terrorists and hand over to Hamas their Holy Lands per the old 1967 lines?
“Do-gooder at heart”? Don’t insult me, don’t insult the Jews, don’t insult conservatives, don’t insult America, Morris Reid.
Alex Spillius at Telegraph continues…
“This is the downside of him not being terribly political like Bill Clinton was. Bill Clinton woke up every day relishing this kind of fight, and Hillary is just a tougher person. The Clintons are much more combative, they are always ready to go to Defcon 1 (‘war is imminent’ state).”
Mr Reid added that the president remained a formidable campaigner and fund-raiser and should not be ruled out of the fight in 2012. But he said some Democrats were feeling “buyer’s remorse” for selecting the president in his epic battle with Mrs Clinton for the 2008 Democratic nomination.
[...]
Mr Obama’s approval rating has fallen dramatically since the killing of Osama bin Laden in early May, and he has failed to outline a vision for how he will improve chronic unemployment and a housing market in which one if five mortgage holders are in negative equity.
A 2012 primary challenge by Mrs Clinton is currently regarded as unlikely, but growing number of party activists and old hands are hoping that she changes her mind.
After all the disappointments, failures, lies, gaffes, self-promotions, and blunders of Obama and his team of statist weasels who keep trying to dismantle the Constitution, you’d think we’d stop being stunned at what this administration does.
Au contraire… hideous news released just today, reported by Gateway Pundit, White House Refuses to Apologize For Taking Pictures at Dover Air Base Without Permission:
He just couldn’t help it.
Barack Obama went to Dover Air Force Base on Tuesday for the return of the remains of 30 American troops killed in a weekend helicopter crash in Afghanistan.
Before his visit the Obama Administration promised there would be no lasting images from his visit.
They lied. It was their Photo of the Day.
The liberal media respected the rule. The White House didn’t. They posted an image on the White House website. It was their photo of the day.
Today the White House refused to apologize for their Dover actions.
Utterly loathsome — 19 of the 30 families of the dead Navy SEALs had already informed officials that they did not want media coverage. And yet, this type of disregard for Americans is very consistent with, very predictable of Obama’s insulting Era of Hopenchange.
Would there have been a grassroots tea party movement if Clinton or John McCain had been elected president? Would there even have been a need for one?
Would the US economy be in the same dire mess it is with or without Obama’s clueless meddling, his destruction of small businesses, his using the EPA to ultimately destroy the coal industry, his growing of the government to the explosion point, his overspending like a drunken fraternity spoiled brat, his contributing to the worst unemployment we’ve had in more than three decades, his screwing up everything he touches more than Bush or Clinton could ever dream?
Who knows? Armchair reffing and hindsight wisdom doesn’t work in football nor in politics. Playing the postdiction “what if” game is pointless.
The important thing is more Democrats are not kissing Obama’s feet and the hem of his garment like they were in 2008. The cheerleader pompoms are waving less often, the failure of Obamanomics is being exposed.
He won’t “man up,” never takes no ownership of his mistakes and sends his junkyard dogs to attack and vilify those who disagree with him and don’t embrace his socialist ideology. Obama may very well believe his flatulence has no offensive odor, and if you disagree, watch out.
This was the man who — forever the narcissist — used his own initials to name his White House dog “Bo,” who has dismissed Americans’ concerns about the failing economy, tax and deficit spending increases, job losses, and unprecedented growth of government, who has mocked American tea partiers, saying they “should be thanking me.” He later whined that the mainstream media didn’t thank him enough, gave an interview about how overworked he is, how he’d rather be on vacation in Tuscany eating pasta than being president. But at the same time, he seems sorry that being president prevents him from being a dictator.
Pathetic, whiny stuff coming from the leader of the world’s greatest nation… this has foreshadowed the crisis we’re in.
As we get closer to the 2012 elections, Democrats’ waning support of Obama and their increased hankering for a nice, cold glass of V8 is all the more prophetic of Republican wins in the Oval Office and Congress.
