Contessa Brewer, the liberal bubblehead anchor with a poodle’s first name, will no longer be fabricating, misrepresenting, or covering the news at MSNBC after today. Today she says goodbye.
Adiós, Contessa. Wish I could say I’ll miss you after your eight years of non-partisan reporting… uh, no, who am I kidding? I don’t wish any such thing because your reporting was never non-partisan. You even lamented on the air when the news didn’t go the way you “wanted,” like when the Times Square wannabe bomber turned out to be a Muslim. You were upset that a tea party member or any other white conservative or “white militia group” hadn’t tried to murder innocent people in New York.
There was likely a time that Brewer could be trusted as a fair journalist, someone who was digging for the truth no matter how painful, to earn the trust of the public with her tenacious desire to report unvarnished facts, rather than supporting an ideology, getting into the metaphorical bed with one political party. Those days are as long gone as The Backstreet Boys.
Soon, some other pretty leftist face will take Brewer’s place, someone who will more than likely shamelessly smear conservatives and critics of Barack Obama or the Democrat party, who will unhesitatingly distort the truth, as is the proclivity of many at MSNBC.
But for now, I’ve got a smile on my face… let’s break out the bubbly!

Brewer was one of the first cable news anchors to grasp the importance of social media, something Brewer told us about last year during our MediaBeat interview. Her Facebook fan page has more than 12,000 likes, (in addition to her personal profile and 4,000+ friends) and she has nearly 22,000 followers on Twitter, (@ContessaBrewer) and she uses both platforms to engage with viewers.
For now, Brewer will continue to host the weekend MSNBC show “Caught on Camera.” But expect the TV anchor and reporter to look for other opportunities outside NBC.

This first one is one of my favorites. What a partisan hack — it’s doubtful she would have ever been this unprofessionally snotty to a Democrat politician. And for the amount of money MSNBC doled out on her, you’d think she would have done a teensy bit of research. But if she had, we wouldn’t have this Crackerjack prize of an unexpected “gotcha” from Rep. Mo Brooks.

What are people like Contessa Brewer using as jusification for their bigotry towards tea partiers? At least with Islam, there is some justification (actually, there is a lot).
And, yes, Contessa, one’s background is an excuse for terrorism. We should all forgive all Muslim terrorists because they are victims (of imaginary racism, at the hands of outdated right-wing bigots, or something).
Actually, it is true that Muslims are victims. They are victims of an oppressive, anachronistic religion. But, it isn’t the real Muslim victims who are the terrorists (and even if it were, that wouldn’t be an excuse).

Contessa Brewer is an idiot. Very entertaining video. “Did you ask her any tough questions?” ROFLMAO. Only someone as dull as Contessa Brewer wouldn’t see the irony in that statement. Of course, fortunately for my entertainment, most MSM reporters are as dull as Contessa Brewer. “I consider myself a common sense thinker.” Again, ROFLMAO. Bravo, Mr. Ziegler. All he did is use the left-wing media’s own tricks against them.
