Lovely, Shapely Women in Snug Patriotic T-Shirts: Patriot Depot Shows Why Conservative Girls Look Better Than Liberals

New conservatives’ clothing advert from Patriot Depot — looks like these two sensuous photos of the models in the ad below have followed the advice of The Other McCain’s legendary “Rule 5″ listed in his How to Get a Million Hits on Your Blog in Less Than a Year posting.
A portion of RSM’s Rule 5:
Everybody loves a pretty girl — It’s not just guys who enjoy staring at pictures of hotties. If you’ve ever picked up Cosmo or Glamour, you realize that chicks enjoy looking at pretty girls, too. (NTTAWWT.) Maybe it’s the vicious catty she-thinks-she’s-all-that factor, or the schadenfreude of watching a human trainwreck like Britney Spears, but no one can argue that celebrity babes generate traffic. Over at Conservative Grapevine, the most popular links are always the bikini pictures. And try as I might to make “logical arguments” for tax cuts, wouldn’t you rather watch Michelle Lee Muccio make those arguments?
No doubt about it, cheesecake photos and pretty and/or sexy women bring in additional Internet traffic to blogs. I’ve had huge international traffic on all my Russian spy/Anna Chapman posts and photos.
There are definitely attractive and unattractive, intelligent and stupid women on both sides of the political fence. Patriot Depot suggests in its emailed ad subject line of “Why Conservative Girls Look Better Than Libs. . .” that conservative women are more attractive than liberal women.
As amusing as that is for a conservative to think, it just isn’t so. The “my GOP women are better looking” or “my conservative candidates are more handsome” arguments are a bit lame and can be bully-on-the-playground-like. They may make sense if you’re under 18 (or 12), but in the grown-up world of economic responsibility and inherent freedoms and rights of a nation’s citizens, they have no place.
I don’t want to appear to be mean-spirited to those who aren’t as physically attractive as others (beauty comes from within, after all). Intelligence is often evaluated in the mind of the beholder. I once knew a fabulous woman who was a brilliant engineer with a Ph.D., an expert in her field, but she was often clueless about everyday things.
Even drop-dead gorgeous women can be photographed poorly, but that happens with anyone being photographed. A professional photographer would never choose an unflattering photo to feature on a magazine’s cover, unless he or she had a personal axe to grind or political ideology to mock or taint.
Case in point, Newsweek’s recent shameful cover photo of Minnesota congresswoman and GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann. We’ve seen many photographs of Bachmann — she’s a beautiful woman who has had an impressive career. She’s an elected lawmaker who represents American citizens in the nation’s capitol, who has earned LL.M. degree in tax law from the William & Mary School of Law, who has worked as an attorney for the IRS.
The cover photo chosen of Bachmann, however, was a ridiculous puerile smear job by a major publication (well, not so major anymore) that smacked more of an immature high school “hate you” website. The cover that left-wing editor Tina Brown selected deliberately made Rep. Bachmann look creepy, stupid, and/or dazed.
It’s highly doubtful that liberal clothing manufacturers would use any of the following photos of Democrat women for T-shirt endorsements — but Tina at Newsweek, you go ahead and use them on your dying magazine’s cover any time, since you seem to prefer unflattering photos of women in leadership positions:

Reminder of a previous Newsweek hit-job cover, sexist in nature, taken out of context, and meant to demean and trivialize Gov. Sarah Palin, a mother of five, from 2009 — click image below to enlarge:

Hey, Newsweek, fixed your Sarah Palin cover for you. You're welcome. The rip-off of the photo from Runner's World is your own problem.
Oh, if you’re interested in exploring the Patriot Depot website for additional cool conservative gear, clothing, and sundry items, here’s the link for the Don’t Tread on Me T-shirt.

I have noticed that conservative women tend to be more attractive (Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, and one of the most attractive women I have ever seen, S.E. Cupp, just to name a few notable examples), and I have also noticed that, to a lesser extent, conservative men tend to be more handsome (for example, Paul Ryan). But, like you said, appearance is unimportant. I think Paul Ryan would be a good president, but it is only an added benefit that he is handsome.
As for conservative women being more attractive, I have a hypothesis of why that might be. Either ugly women feel like victims, or they feel ostracized by society (and it seems like those people generally tend to be liberal for whatever reason), or liberal women don’t care about their appearance (perhaps this is some sort of feminist ideal, i.e. they’re not objects, or something). However, I am not the right person to be talking about the female psyche.
But, again, appearance is ultimately unimportant. You can say things like “conservative women are hotter,” but saying things like “conservative women are hotter, and, therefore, conservatives are better” is just petty and immature.
I would like to add that some (internal) characteristics, to me at least, make some people seem more attractive. Contessa Brewer is physically attractive, but that’s about it. Overall, she is an unattractive person.
I agree. Contessa is a beautiful external shell — inside, not so pretty and quite empty. Beauty fades, so in time, she’ll just be a craggy shell.
One of the most beautiful people I’ve ever known was the late Mother Teresa. She positively radiated with beauty, which all came from within.
I don’t know much about Mother Teresa, other than that she is Albanian. Are you saying you personally knew her? I will add that Marie Curie was homely, but she was a brilliant scientist who had to overcome much adversity (because she was a woman in the late 1800′s and early 1900′s) and who, according to Albert Einstein, was uncorrupted by her fame. She, too, is beautiful in her own way.
No, I never met her nor knew her personally. Just read about all Mother Teresa selflessly did for humanity. Her beauty struck me years before she died.
BTW – you mentioned Michelle Malkin. I was fortunate enough to meet her last year at the Freedom Concert in Las Vegas. I carpooled with another conservative blogger, Roxy at Diary of a Mad Conservative. We had a blast! Michelle is even more lovely, fabulous, and gracious in person, and oh, wow, she’s TINY! I felt like friggin’ Bigfoot standing next to her.
She had her hair pulled up in a loose chignon with chopsticks sticking out – gorgeous!
