“The Best of West” — Florida Rep. Allen West Speaks Out on the Budget, Spending, Breakdown of Black Families, Israel, & Obama’s “Marxist Demagogic Rhetoric” (video)
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on September 30, 2011
Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is a conservative and a patriot. The retired US Army lieutenant colonel who served in Iraq doesn’t hold back when speaking his mind, as is evident in this round-up of videos. Liberals despise him — some black liberals have gone so far as to call him the derogatory term “Oreo” — a nasty racist slur which is to say he’s “black on the outside, white on the inside.”
Rep. West is the first African-American Republican Congressman from Florida since Josiah T. Walls left office in 1876 near the end of Reconstruction. He has been appointed to the House Armed Services Committee and the Small Business Committee. He joined the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) in January 2011, the first Republican member since 1996.
I’m calling this round-up “The Best of West.”
I so admire this man for his conservative principles, his integrity, his courage, his eloquence, his love of country, and his service to America. We need more like him in Congress.
In this first video, Rep. West talked with Neil Cavuto this week on the spending budget and a potential government shutdown. He said that Senate majority leader Harry Reid is playing political games.
At the Congressional Black Congress meeting this past week, Rep. West gave an articulate, thoughtful, and uncomfortable response to a slanted question about Obama as a role model for black children. He describes the break-down of black families, and what is needed are black fathers in the home as role models, not Washington, DC as a role model.

In July 2011, Rep. West addressed the US House on his support of Israel. He said that the terrorist infrastructure that is embodied with Hamas should be dismantled and that Israel is “a bright and shiny beacon, which is in a sea of despots, dictators, theocrats, and autocrats.”
In an interview with WESH-NBC in Orlando in July 2011, Rep. Allen West called President Barack Obama’s actions on the debt ceiling debate “sad,” “pathetic,” and “fear-mongering.”
In May 2011, Rep. West stood by his comments from earlier in the week on the Laura Ingraham Show that Obama was acting like some sort of tinpot dictator during his budget speech. West told Greta Van Susteren, “I’m sick and tired of this Marxist demagogic rhetoric coming from this president.”

From February 2011, Rep. West is magnificent addressing a member of the terrorist organization CAIR on the Quran at a Pompano Beach, Florida townhall meeting.
“I’ve been on the battlefield, my friend, okay. Don’t try blowing sunshine up my butt and tell me it’s warm and fuzzy.”

Rep. West later clarified his statements during a Fox interview.

Not yet elected to Congress, Lt. Col. West addressed an immigration rally in 2010.
Allen West SLAMS President Obama Saying “I can’t stand the guy”
In 2010, West addressed how liberals have attacked him, called him racist names, and wanted to smear him to prevent him from winning the congressional election, West asked that his supporters “hold the line and stay with me on that united front” while they fight “a dishonest tyranny.”
Allen West – on Pelosi and Klein

I really like this guy. He says it like it is. No BS. Refreshing. The entire congress should be filled with people who represent the citizens not themselves.
Amen to that.
