Obama’s Shady Loan to Solyndra: Treasury Officials Say They’ve Never Seen a Loan Like This One, WH Refuses to Show All Loan Documents (video)

Like pulling up the layers of a moldy onion, the multi-million-dollar government loan to the bankrupted solar panel company Solyndra is revealing more by the day. Also reported yesterday, Solyndra’s CEO Brian Harrison has resigned.
From NewsMax, Treasury Officials: Never Saw a Loan Like Solyndra:
WASHINGTON — Two senior Treasury officials said Friday that they had never seen a loan restructuring similar to the Energy Department loan to a failed solar panel maker.
The half-billion dollar loan to Solyndra Inc. was restructured so that private investors moved ahead of taxpayers for repayment on part of the loan in case of a default.
Asked by Republican members of Congress if they had seen that occur in a federal loan, Treasury officials Gary Grippo and Gary Burner said no.
Grippo is a deputy assistant treasury secretary and Burner is chief financial officer at the Federal Financing Bank, which made a $528 million loan to Solyndra in 2009.
The two men stopped short of declaring the loan restructuring illegal, as Republican allege.
From AoSHQ, WHITE HOUSE REFUSES TO TURN OVER SOLYNDRA DOCUMENTS:
Earlier, they were subpeonaed.
Now, a source says they will withhold some documents, which I take to mean all the important documents.
Team Obama, thy name is arrogance. And corruption.
YouTube summary of this PJTV commentary video on the growing number of Team Obama scandals, parallels between the failures of Barack Obama and Orson Welles’ character Charles Foster Kane in the classic film Citizen Kane, and the president’s massive ego:
The Solyndra and Fast & Furious scandals are rocking the Obama Administration. No matter what the problem, Obama always seems to say that more government is the answer. But drawing a comparison from Citizen Kane, Trifecta asks whether the real problem might be that Obama used the Solyndra loan and the Fast & Furious program to lend credence to controversial theories about the Second Amendment and the green economy.
Slamming soundbites: First time, maybe, I don’t know, since Millard Fillmore, that we’ve had to put quotes around the word “president” and this one, simply a faculty room wonk.
Citizen Obama Caught in Love Nest with “Solyndra” and “Fast & Furious” Scandals
I’ll beat the leftwing media bias drum once again — NewsBusters points out that we are now at the six-week mark that MSNBC’s ultra-liberal talking heads (Matthews, Sharpton, O’Donnell, and Schultz) have totally ignored the Solyndra scandal.
Wednesday marked the six week anniversary of solar company Solyndra declaring bankruptcy.
Despite this, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, Lawrence O’Donnell, Ed Schultz, and Al Sharpton have yet to report one single word about this growing scandal on their respective prime time programs.
This goes hand in hand with the lack of coverage the broadcast networks have given this matter.
All this silence comes amidst new revelations about the government’s $535 million loan to this company as USA Today reported Friday.
In total fairness, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has NOT been silent about Solyndra.
She’s mentioned it ONCE in six weeks.
