Gird Your Loins: Crazy Joe Biden Torqued Off, Wants Investigation & Conservative Reporter’s Credentials Yanked for Asking Tough Rape Question (video)

Reporters, don’t screw with Joe Biden by asking tough questions… especially when he gets caught making up random rape and murder statistics to sell his fear-mongering-tainted rhetoric to push Pres. Obama’s “Son of Stimulus I” jobs bill. Dear Leader’s Head Clown does not take kindly to anything resembling a critical question from the press. Wiping that egg off Biden’s smug face comes with a price — like yanking a reporter’s credentials.
Gird your loins, Jason… freedom of the press is fast becoming an endangered animal during Obama’s Era of Hopenchange.
I’ve written about Human Events editor Jason Mattera earlier this week (see here and here) and his question posed to the VP GaffeMeister.

Joe Biden has traveled across the country, threatening Americans with “rapes and murders” if congress didn’t pass Obama’s jobs bill, the same jobs bill that Democrats killed in the Senate (so are on the hook for said “rapes and murders?”). He didn’t like the questioning he received from Human Events’s Jason Mattera on the subject, so now the White House is taking aim at Mattera with an investigation.

The Hill says Biden was “lured” into the interview. No, he thought Mattera was another back-patting reporter with a satchel full of softballs, not an actual journalist who doesn’t trade principle for access like so many of today’s media. How difficult is it to answer why you’re fear-mongering with “rapes and murders” all week?

It’s asinine that Biden has time to do this but doesn’t have time to press for investigations of Fast and Furious or Solyndra.
So now the administration is going to bar the presence of credentialed reporters who ask questions of which the President and Vice-President disapprove? Transparency, 2012.

Vice President Joe Biden’s office has asked the U.S. Senate Press Gallery to investigate conservative journalist Jason Mattera’s tactics during a recent interview, a process that could result in his press credentials being revoked, The Daily Caller has learned.
Mattera, the editor of Human Events and a widely known video ambush interviewer, caught Biden by surprise after asking if he would pose together for a joint picture. While embracing the vice president for the photo, Mattera asked Biden if he “regret[s] using a rape reference to describe Republican opposition to the president’s bill.”
After pausing for a moment during which he appears shocked, Biden attempted to defend his comments.
“I didn’t use — no, no, no,” Biden told Mattera amid a crowd of onlookers on Capitol Hill. “What I said — let’s get it straight, guy, don’t screw around with me. Let’s get it straight.”
“I said rape was up three times in Flint, [Mich.],” Biden continued. “There are the numbers. Go look at the numbers. Murder’s up, rape is up and burglary’s up. That’s exactly what I said.”
Biden, it turns out, was incorrect. The Washington Post’s fact-checker blog gave him “four Pinocchios,” the worst possible rating it can give to politicians for incorrect statements. FactCheck.org also debunked Biden’s assertions. Those fact checkers used statistics different from the ones Biden was provided.
Biden apparently got his statistics from the City of Flint, and the city stands by its statistics according to Public Safety Director Chief Alvern Lock. In an October 20 statement, Lock said there are discrepancies between different law enforcement agencies’ statistics and crime definitions — something that he said should account for the inconsistencies. “The discrepancies with the FBI and other sources reveal the differences in how crimes can be counted and categorized, based on different criteria,” Lock said.
Even so, Mattera caught Biden playing politics with sketchy numbers. And now the Vice President’s staff is looking for a fight with Mattera instead of correcting the widespread misunderstandings Biden created.
It’s not the first time Crazy Uncle Joe has become visibly peeved with those in the non-adoring media.
You may recall that Barbara West, a WFTV reporter in Orlando, Florida, who dared to present critical questions that weren’t bunny-softballs, suffered his wrath. While this short Biden interview in the video below looks ridiculously tame, quite professional compared to what GOP candidates have suffered from the liberal lamestream media over the years, this was one of the first and only “tough” interviews conducted with either Biden or Obama prior to the 2008 presidential election.
No wonder the future VP was stunned that she DARED to question Barack Obama’s background with ACORN and his blatant socialist agenda — later that day, Uncle Joe lashed out at West in the press, swearing he’d never do another interview with her or her affiliate again.
Crybaby.
