Because We Can Never Thank Our Vets Enough… God Bless Our Veterans on This Veterans Day, America Thanks You (video)
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on November 11, 2011
We can never thank them enough… God bless all in our military, past and present. God bless all who returned home, and those who did not. Thank you for your courage, your honor, your love of country, and your countless sacrifices to defend and protect the freedom of others.
I compiled another Veterans Day tribute earlier this month — Moral Courage: Thank You to Our Heroes… Tribute to Our Courageous Troops, Past & Present, for Veterans Day (video). I felt compelled to post this second one.
BECAUSE WE CAN NEVER THANK THEM ENOUGH.
Summary of this first video from YouTube contributor roosrcool:
This is a commercial that has been airing on Veterans day. It is a very special commercial because they used actual veterans, including myself to do the run. A tight salute to Boeing for this one…

Today, November 11, also coincides with Armistice Day or Remembrance Day, holidays that are celebrated in other countries; today also marks the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I, the “Great War.” It took effect at eleven o’clock in the morning, the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” of 1918. In France and Belgium, Armistice Day is an official holiday and is also called the Day of Peace in the Flanders Fields. The number eleven is predominant on this Veterans Day, the date of which can be written 11-11-11.
Google has a special tribute doodle honoring Veterans Day on its homepage today: a tree with a yellow ribbon tied around its trunk:

Take a couple of minutes today to visit the Let’s Give Thanks website, sponsored by Xerox, to send a free card of thanks to a deployed soldier. Since the program began, more than 30 million people have visited the Let’s Give Thanks website to share their appreciation with our troops through cards using children’s artwork from across America.
