Obama’s Deception: Tells NY Dem Jewish Donors He Tries Not to Pat Himself on the Back Over All He’s Done for Israel Security

Obama's latest deception: "I try not to pat myself too much on the back, but this administration has done more for the security of the state of Israel than any previous administration"

While creating unprecedented gridlock in New York during his Big Apple fundraising jaunts during the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Barack Obama tried to placate wealthy New York Democrat Jews with this latest bizarre fabrication:

“I try not to pat myself too much on the back, but this administration has done more for the security of the state of Israel than any previous administration.”

Uh, no. Either POTUS has a delusional, selective memory (his audacious “1967 borders” speech is but one example) when it comes to Israel or has no compunction whatsoever to tell the truth nor to denounce Muslim proclamations to kill all the world’s Jews. And this sudden false modesty of not “patting himself on the back” is laughable.

Some furious tap dancing at Obama’s $10,000-a-head private fund-raising shindig last night — he’s gonna need it.

At least there are no reports of Obama whining about or dissing Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu over an open mic.

Reported by Haaretz, Obama to N.Y. Jews: No ally is more important than Israel:

President Barack Obama defended his policy toward Israel at a political fundraiser on Wednesday, saying that Israel was the U.S.’s most important ally.

Obama, who has been criticized by some of Israel’s U.S. supporters for being tough on a close ally and has had strained ties with Israeli Prime Benjamin Netanyahu, offered strong assurances of his commitment to Israel’s security.

“I try not to pat myself too much on the back, but this administration has done more for the security of the state of Israel than any previous administration,” Obama said. “We don’t compromise when it comes to Israel’s security … and that will continue.”

The president was speaking to campaign donors at the Manhattan home of Jack Rosen, chairman of the American Jewish Congress, who said “it would be remiss for me not to say there are many in the Jewish community who are concerned” about the relationship between Israel and the United States.

Rosen added, however, that “America has never been as supportive of the state of Israel as President Obama and his administration.”

From Jerusalem Post, Obama defends Israel policy at NY fundraiser:

The White House wants to shore up support among Jewish voters for Obama’s 2012 re-election bid. He won nearly eight of every 10 Jewish voters in 2008, but a slip would jeopardize his re-election drive in battleground states like Florida and Pennsylvania.

Obama faced criticism from some Jewish leaders earlier this year when he insisted that any negotiations on the borders of a future Palestinian state begin on the basis of lines that existed before Israel captured the West Bank and Gaza Strip in a 1967 war. His Middle East peace efforts have mostly stalled.

From Gateway Pundit, Barack Obama to Jewish Donors: “I Try Not to Pat Myself on the Back” But I’ve Done More For Israel Security Than Any Other President:

In May Barack Obama urged Israel to hand over half of Jerusalem, the Wailing Wall, The Temple Mount, Old Jerusalem, and the tomb of Jesus Christ to the Hamas-Fatah terrorist alliance.

Obama thought this would bring peace.

Hamas and Fatah leaders met again this week to discuss the reconciliation process between the two radical groups.

But, since when did facts matter to Barack Obama?

Last night Barack Obama told Jewish donors in New York that he has done more for Israel than all of his predecessors combined.

Video encore… in May, conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin asked, “Why does Obama hate Israel?”

In addition to his insincere support for Israel, traffic was the worst it’s been in recent history in NYC — from Mediaite:

Anyone who has ever tried to attend the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting in New York City will give you the same advice: don’t go. You won’t get close enough to see the tree, you’re barricaded in with groups of people pushing to get closer, it’s nearly impossible to navigate your way through the crowds, and getting there is a hassle, as traffic is snarled and roads are blocked off. So the fact that President Obama has decided to visit New York City on the same night as the Tree Lighting, to attend three fundraisers, has millions of residents angry as they hopelessly stare down a double-dose of unimaginable gridlock.

Donald Trump hammered President Obama in an appearance Tuesday night on the Fox Business Network for not respecting the troubles this will cause most New Yorkers during rush hour. He didn’t mince words. “It’s very inconsiderate of the President to come into New York and have a fundraiser during the Christmas tree lighting,” Trump told David Asman on Power & Money. “Thousands and thousands of people come to see the lighting; they’re not going to be able to move. There’s going to be total gridlock, the streets are going to be closed because the President’s in town. I think it’s a very nasty move by the President.”

A New York Post editorial asked why the President had to pick tonight, of all nights, to hold three fundraisers that could have been scheduled for another day (although WNYC claims that only the first two events are fundraisers; the third is a “holiday reception”). The paper warned that entire city blocks will turn into parking lots:

“With just a little less arrogance, and a little more consideration, on the part of the president and his political team, the whole mess could have been avoided.”
