Congress’s Budget Shams & Trojan Horses: Sean Hannity Interviews Senators Mike Lee & Orrin Hatch (video)

From yesterday’s radio broadcast — conservative talk show host Sean Hannity interviewed Utah’s Sen. Mike Lee (he won the 2010 election in Utah with 62 percent of the vote, against the Democrat incumbent Bob Bennett) and Sen. Orrin Hatch. Both are Republicans, and junior senator Lee is tea party-endorsed.
After some chit-chat about snow skiing, the interview really takes off, starting with their proposed balanced budget amendment to put a straitjacket on federal government’s non-stop overspending and the increases in taxes that Democrats and Obama want.
Sen. Lee warns about Congress’s previous shams, the “Trojan horses” of balanced budgets we’ve been fooled with before. Hannity points out that the majority of Americans are sick of the spending and that few liberals and RINOs want to exercise any fiscal discipline under Obama.
Good interview — they also briefly discuss Sen. Hatch’s support of Clarence Thomas and Ronald Reagan.
