We’re live outside the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ where around 1,500 invited guests will pay their last respects.

Among those expected to be in attendance today … Kevin Costner, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Revs. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton, and several more.

From Mail Online, Is this the moment Bobby Brown was turned away from ex-wife Whitney Houston’s funeral?

An emotional Bobby Brown is seen getting into his car – shortly after arriving to the funeral of his ex-wife Whitney Houston.

According to reports, the 43-year-old singer – who became divorced from Whitney in 2007 – was denied entry to the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, today.

Shortly after the service began he was seen leaving the church with a grim expression on his face and his arm round fiancée Alicia Etheridge, who was sobbing uncontrollably.

They stood outside for a few moments before getting in to a waiting SUV and drove off.

It is thought that Brown entered the church but left straight afterwards. It is not know if he had a disagreement with the Houston family once inside.

However, later reports from CNN claimed he made a different entrance. He was cheered by fans upon his arrival at the church.

Brown, Houston’s ex-husband, had reportedly been invited after her family put aside their differences and begrudgingly said he could come.

Moments after the drama singer Stevie Wonder arrived and was led up the church steps and through the front door.

As Brown was waiting outside the church an unidentified man stood next to him crying uncontrollably.

Brown himself appeared to be wiping away a tear as he got into his car.

Live coverage from inside Houston’s funeral shows her daughter Bobbi Kristina and mother Cissy sat on the front row.

From Radar Online, Officials Subpoena Whitney Houston’s Medical Records & Prescriptions:

In the wake of Whitney Houston’s death at 48, authorities in Los Angeles are seeking the doctors who prescribed, and pharmacies who dispensed, the medication found in the hotel suite she died in, as coroner officials Wednesday sent subpoenas calling for Houston’s medical records and prescriptions.

In addition, we’ve learned that the pharmacy that dispensed to Houston had previously been linked to two celebs who died in drug-related deaths in the past five years: Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson.

“I know there are reports that she maybe was drowned or did she overdose, but we won’t make a final determination until all the tests are in,” said Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter, noting it might be several weeks before officials determine what killed the Grammy-winner.

Winter said while medication was recovered from the Beverly Hilton room the singer was found in, it was a reasonable amount not synonymous with overdose deaths. Winter said it does not appear The Bodyguard star had sought out multiple doctors to procure more medication — commonly known as “doctor shopping” — and that “so far, nothing looks criminal.”

From TMZ, Whitney’s Family to Bobby Brown Keep Your Mitts Off Your Ex-Wife’s Fortune!:

Bobby Brown is about to make a money grab by leeching onto his daughter, the sole heir to Whitney Houston’s fortune — at least that’s what Whitney’s mom and other family members believe.

Family sources tell TMZ … Cissy Houston is aggressively trying to block Bobby from getting close to 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina, fearing it’s just a ploy to line his pockets.

The family is convinced … Bobby is broke, and he’s making a play for his daughter’s affection to latch on to what could be an estate worth around $20 million, and that figure could double by the end of this year.

As TMZ first reported … Bobby tried to visit his daughter earlier this week, but the family shut him down.

We’re told friends of the Houston family have already contacted Bobby and warned him he is persona non grata at Whitney’s funeral and in Bobbi Kristina’s life.

There’s a lot of bad blood between Whitney’s family and Bobby Brown, because they believe he was the driving negative force in her life that led her down the substance abuse path. They also believe he’s largely responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s drug and alcohol struggles.
