Born on April 24, 1880, Swedish engineer Otto Fredrik Gideon Sundback worked on the concept of a “Separable Fastener” during the early days of the 20th century, making him one of the fathers of the modern-day zipper. On Google’s homepage today, an interactive zipper pays homage to what would have been Sundback’s 132nd birthday. [...]
